08.01.2022 Welcome, we will be opening the museum as soon as we are able. During this time of closure we have been busy planning new exhibits for the future, The first activity will be repairing the entrance room to allow easier access to the displays etc. The wide veranda is in need of repair and this will be the next big project. We have ideas for smaller exhibitions. Copper Hill story will be ready soon as well as a History of the Museum. It is 50 years since the Histori...cal Society took over the building. What a story it should be able to tell us. Since the outside kitchen was completed, we have wanted to redo the laundry, located next door. We have several old washing machines and other laundry equipment, but we are missing other pieces. One of these is an old copper tub, used in the copper to boil clothes etc in the late 1800''s. If you have one please contact the museum. See more

01.01.2022 This object was left at the museum a few days ago. We have been unable to find an owner and what it was used for. We believe it may have been used in the textile or manufacturing industries. To be added to our collection and used in any display we need details of its use, Who it belonged to? and that it has a province to Molong and District. If you are able to assist please message me or contact the museum. The Museum continues to open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
