22.01.2022 Happy Birthday Mon Ami! We are now 17 years old - just teenagers! Merci beaucoup to Jenny and Kevin Cato as our special duck diners tonight - who picked up their take home duck order and birthday Baba au Rhum to enjoy. We even received a lovely prezzie from them and hand made duckie card. We are very lucky to have such long term and supportive locals and customers. Looking forward to another 17 years....well maybe not that long! But see you all again soon....a bientot

21.01.2022 Bonjour mes amis. Here we go again! Back to a take away menu for the next 6 weeks. We will be doing our delicious confit duck leg with a choice of 4 sauces on a bed of tomato and herb risotto. The menu will be on the website shortly. Mushroom and truffle double baked soufflé on a cauliflower and fennel puree Canard poitrine, poached pear, garlic and parmesan croutons D’Affinois Brie, orange reduction, crostini Chocolat truffe, raspberry sabayon, yoghurt whipped with lemon curd Café We will have just 8 people this year for Bastille Day. Still have 2 tables left. Book now! Vive la France!

20.01.2022 Are we having fun yet? Not!! We are selling lots of take home duck confit but missing the 'joie de vivre' of a full house with all its noise, bustle and conviviality.

19.01.2022 Hear ye hear ye. We will be open again for dine in at Mon Ami from 2nd June! Due to social distancing measures and number of people per floor space we can only seat up to 8 people per service. So we have decided to provide 2 sittings: 5pm to 7.30pm and 7.30pm to 10pm. A new take away menu will also be available and we're working on the new dine in menu right now. A bientot!

18.01.2022 We had a mini frenzy today at Mon Ami - carried the furniture outside so that we could polish the floor. Also finally put up our new 144 on the outside of the building (we bought the ceramic numbers in France at least 14 years ago!) Cooked up another 20 confit duck legs for the week and a pic of a couple of take away ducks that went out on Thursday. Hope you're enjoying your quiet Easter!

And of course the wine wall...you can take home a bottle with your duck. New addition the Crayfish bisque has been a winner! Have to order early before we sell out.
