01.01.2022 Kindness is one of the Monash Health values, and something we aspire to live by every day. Today is World Kindness Day and this week, Monash Health has participated in Go Kindness, which has included a variety of activities to celebrate kindness and its role in healthcare. While it may have been the year of ‘stopping the spread’ kindness is something we encourage everyone in the Monash Health community to spread daily.... We recently received these warm words from one of our patients at Dandenong Hospital: Right from walking through the doors of the hospital, I was treated with so much care and compassion, that has touched me so deeply, and I felt the need to write to you to ask you to let them know that if my experience is anything to go by, then they are doing a fabulous job. At every touch-point, I received amazing care. I felt like royalty with the attention I was afforded. ...I would appreciate it if you could somehow let them all know, including the management that they are all awesome and they have my deepest gratitude.
