15.01.2022 EDIT: Agreed late last night to meet bride today to alter her dress for her wedding on Saturday - hopefully I'll be able to help out. Luckily have all Sept & early Oct all sorted and accepted a few new Oct/Nov jobs to the list. PS: Please please don't leave alterations to the last minute - I try my best but not sure if its doable and way too stressful.... Ensuring that I'm on top of alterations schedules + clients appointments + helping NOR friend 1 day/week for the past few weeks - delighted that she's found 2 great seamstresses now. So please accept my sincere APOLOGIES for late responses to your messages on Facebook. Phone reception in Treeby is horrible so text messages/missed call notice is often a few hours/days late. I'll get back to you as soon as I have a chance to see the messages. I work 7 days/week where needed BUT can't take after hours/Sunday appointments - Council Rules + other members of family will be home too.

My brides trust me to create the look they want and I will only source for fabric once an order is confirmed. As I only buy enough to make 1 dress, have to work with whats current as minimum MOQ is anywhere between 20 - 100 yards for re-production.

Of course I could request google to have the FAKEs removed but then I hoped people would read reviews and not based their decisions on the # of stars only.... 12.01.2022 How long does it takes to create a #customweddingdress? 1) Working with bride to finalise design - depends on the bride. 2) Working with my production team to create the gown... a) Once order is in - team will source fabric etc for my approval (1-4 weeks) b) Work with pattern maker to get the paper pattern adjusted to my satisfaction (1-4 weeks) c) Getting the colour combo right - finally got it right at 4th attempt today (1-2 weeks) d) Cutting & sewing of top layer to pin lace appliques (1-4 weeks) e) Once pinned to satisfaction, appliques will be sewn on & hand beaded (1-4 weeks) f) Cutting/sewing all the other layers with all the proper undergarments to make the dress looks fabulous (1-2 weeks) g) Final QC to check length etc before the gown is boxed (1-2 days) h) Schedule DHL pick up (1-2 days) g) Wait for parcel to arrive (3-20 days) h) Check that I'm happy with gown before I contact bride to arrange 1st fitting. 06.01.2022 On 8 April 2008 - I proudly launch my business. Still remember as clearly as it was yesterday when a very distressed bride walk in on our launch party asking if she could buy a dress off the rack as her wedding is next week & her gown is ruined. Didn't know back then that no other bridal shops sells off the rack or allow walk ins.... That's 1st rescue of brides in distress. 13 years on - still rescuing brides in distress. Even though I've had been working 60-72 hours week since my last break in early December 2020. Just 2 days ago took on another alterations rescue breaking my resolve not to take on more work until after my break as she's the sister of my client.
