24.01.2022 HARDWARE ASSISTANT MITRE 10 MONTO An opportunity has become available for a Hardware Assistant within our Retail and Trade Store. Our focus is on people and c...reating good customer service, therefore the successful applicant must have a genuine desire to assist customers and do the very best they can for them. They must be self-motivated and exhibit good work ethic. The role is 38hrs a week Monday to Friday plus Saturday mornings on rotation, however can negotiate casual terms to suit lifestyle needs. Good remunerations on offer for the successful candidate depending on experience. About the role: Service counter sales Maintain store presentation Cash handling/EFTPOS Assist in mixing of paint Gas refilling Glass cutting Stock control Some heavy lifting involved with stock handling Skills and Experience: Knowledge in Hardware preferred but not essential (training is delivered) Basic computer skills Forklift Licence but not essential Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of building products preferred but not essential Ability to multi-task and see task completed About you: Punctual and reliable Energetic and enthusiastic personality Collaborative and team orientated Excellent work ethic Ability to work unsupervised Clean and tidy presentation Please apply by email to [email protected] or call into our store at 37 Newton Street, Monto for more information.
