18.01.2022 Over the last two and a half years, the Township Group has been talking with locals about our town - including what they love about it and what could make it an... even better place to live, work and play. Through surveys, face to face conversations, a community ideas day and most recently, a two part summit with community groups and businesses, we have collected your hopes, dreams and ideas and created Montrose's Vision and Community's Plan. This includes a list of ideas that we can do together to help make our vision a reality. Today, we are excited to share our community's vision with you - which many of you helped to create. There's more to come, and we will be sharing bits and pieces over the coming weeks, with an aim to have the final Plan ready late this year. If you'd like to receive a copy, please PM us your email address and we'll add you to our distribution list. Thank you to everyone who was involved in this process. We look forward to working with ALL of you to help make our community's vision a reality for everyone who lives, works, or plays here. Thanks for making Montrose so great! #welovewherewelive

These are created for toddlers to wear over other clothes and over gum boots. If interested please message me. Sizes 2, 3, and 4. Multiple colours. See more

05.01.2022 Meet Shannon, owner of the new Posie Project. We are delighted that she will be acting as judge at this Saturday’s Montrose Flower Show! Here’s a little persona...l introduction, and a tip to help bring your flower creations to life. This is me, Shannon. A local Mum of 2 and owner of the posie_project. I am super excited to be a part of the Montrose community. In blooms, I absolutely love the combination of tones and textures. The more the merrier. I cannot wait to see what people create with their home growns! Everyone is welcome to participate this Saturday at the Cottage in the Town Square. Entries will be accepted from 9:30am - 12pm. Simply put together a flower display from your garden, bring it in a jar or container you are happy to leave behind, and the ‘winners’ get 2020 bragging rights All participants will be put in to a raffle to win a $20 gift certificate to be used at any stall at the November or December Montrose Community Market All flowers will be donated to Mercy Place after the event, for residents to enjoy. We look forward to catching a glimpse of what’s blooming in your garden, and thank you Shannon, for being this year’s judge!

01.01.2022 We received a very warm welcome back today Thank you to everyone who attended. Your support is greatly appreciated. We received a lot of positive feedback and lots of smiles (covered by masks of course). Even with all the sanitizer and signs and restrictions people were enjoying all the market had to offer. Thank you Yarra Ranges Life TV for showcasing the Market. We have linked podcast on our page ... Thank you Doongalla Pony Club for running the BBQ. The sausages were purchased from Montrose Meats (supporting another local business and they are delicious). They will be back again next month too. Thank you to the Montrose Township Group for a lovely flower show and taking those bouquets to the Mercy Place residents to enjoy. Next month, Saturday 19th December. Most stalls have rebooked for the day. Stay safe and continue to support local makers. See more
