25.01.2022 FREE DELIVERY // After a busy few months, Moon Rabbit will be closed next week (24-28 August) so the team can rest and recharge before our new mobile coffee van hits the road! So we're offering free delivery the rest of this week on all online orders. Purchase savoury favourites, sweet treats, pantry staples and fresh produce online at www.moonrabbit.org.au and use the code TOMYDOOR at checkout for free delivery (within Darebin only, minimum order $30). Hot drinks are available for delivery to Preston and Reservoir, too! Make sure to place your order by 10am on Friday for delivery before the weekend.

23.01.2022 With more time being spent at home with the six week lock-down ahead, we have made some changes to our trading hours and extended our delivery windows. . To all our Preston and Reservoir friends, you'll also now be able to order a coffee/hot drink in a jar, delivered straight to your door between 8am-10am (order before 9:45am)! . We would love to extend this to all suburbs, but to ensure optimal temperature control and delivery efficiency, we can only offer it within these su...burbs for now. . 20.01.2022 We had all hands on deck (and physically distanced) yesterday afternoon, planting leafy greens and herbs in our garden. Last week, our team created a list of green goals that we wanted to achieve by the end of the year and one of our main goals was to increase the amount of edible food that we grow on site. Thank you to the team at Bunnings Warehouse Australia Preston for their donation of seedlings, marigolds & a very cute bee hotel to help us grow more . We're excited to watch the fruits of our labour grow and feature them in our 'Salad Days' specials over the next few months.

19.01.2022 Our mobile café - On the Hop - is hitting the streets of Darebin this coming Monday, and we wanted to share how we’ll be serving takeaway drinks, hot and cold, paper-cup free! We are also determined to elimate all single-use paper/cardboard food packaging over the next 6 months. To keep us working towards our zero-waste mission, we'll be employing a '3-B's' system to reduce, reuse and return with ease. .. >BYO mug, plate or container >BORROW a mug or glass jar with lid. >BUY-...IN to our TCX (The Cup Exchange) membership scheme ($3 fee applies), worth two TCX cups in your preferred size. 19.01.2022 Our new mobile café - On the Hop - is getting ready to hit the streets of Darebin very soon, and here's another sneak peek at what you can expect. We're super excited that @pickapokit will be supplying their colourful pita bread, in garlic, spinach and turmeric flavours! We'll be filling them with delicious vegetarian and meat options, including chickpea kofte with crunchy veg and labneh made by us, and lamb kofte with hummus made by our social-enterprise friends @freetofeed just down the road. Keep an eye on our Instagram over the coming weeks for more sneak peeks and updates on when we'll be coming to a street near you!

17.01.2022 Our Moon Rabbit team has been making the most of lockdown by fitting in a few produce photoshoots, and we think the outcome is salad gold. You can purchase seasonal produce in-store or online, including fresh lemons and oranges straight from Jack's garden. 15.01.2022 CLOTHING THE GAP // Here at Moon Rabbit, we are always striving to be conscious about our impact and make meaningful decisions. We've recently updated our uniform policy to now include Clothing The Gap merchandise, so we can wear our values on our tees. Clothing The Gap is a Victorian Aboriginal owned and led social enterprise, that unites non-Indigenous and Aboriginal people through fashion and causes. One of these is Closing the Gap, an initiative working to help close the life expectancy gap between Aboriginal people and non-Indigenous Australians. 03.01.2022 Next week, On the Hop won't be hopping to any parks but instead, you'll find us at Woolworths Preston (Murray Rd), from 7.30-10.30am, Monday to Friday. As we prepare for dine-in from Monday 10 November, we will be using this time to recruit and train new staff members, and get our space, staff and operations ready for dine-in (woohoo!). We can't wait to welcome you all back soon, and we'll be back to hopping around local parks next week!
