21.01.2022 Hi all, Football Victoria has released guidelines for returning to training. Our seniors started training last week and over the next 2 weeks we are looking forward to having all our juniors and mini Roos back training. Coordinators will be in touch to let you know training times.... There are a few housekeeping rules we have to adhere to; - All players must be registered on playfootball before they can train (see link below) - Parents are to drop kids off and sign the Covid19 attendance form (this has to be done at each session). - Bring your own water bottle - Parents are asked to wait in their cars for training to finish. 19.01.2022 Flashback Friday Hope everyone is keeping safe and well! Once again we missed Throwback Thursday last night but we are back again tonight.... Another senior mens Football Chaos game against Beauy this time from 2011. This game at home was recorded before we had all our ground, lights and room renovations. 2011 ultimately proved to be a tough first year in Prov 1 which saw us finish second last and relegated into Prov 2. 13.01.2022 We could all do with some good news this year, well we have some Many of you will remember the Team 11 bid for a local A league team that we partnered with quite some time back. The objective of this bid was simple - create an elite club that’s all about supporting the community and built by people from the local community. As we know the bid was not approved and Western United was born. Well the team did not stop working and managed to pull off a great achievement ... An existing A league and W league club is moving just down the road from us......how good is that ! This cup match was recorded at our old home ground (Italo Australia Club), when we were known as Carrum United - which many people who are still involved today would have fond memories of. ... 06.01.2022 ***Important*** Juniors & Minroos Update| We’d like to thank all our players & parents for their continued patience, cooperation and resilience as we continue to navigate through these unprecedented times. ... Football Victoria recently released their competitions calendar which shows that our Mini Roo’s & Juniors will play 13 games this season not the usual 18 games. With this in mind the committee has been busy restructuring fees for our members. We believe this upholds our strong community and inclusive philosophy. An email will be sent to all members who are fully paid and revised invoices issued for all other members. Fees need to be paid by Friday 10th July to be able to play this weekend. Fees can be paid via the emailed invoice, bank transfer or via Eftpos at the club.
