24.01.2022 We have lots of favourite books at Kindy and this week we enjoyed two new stories because it was Book Week. We read a story about a runaway rabbit who was being chased by a hungry fox and we met a turtle who got stuck in a lift on his birthday. We books at Kindy.

20.01.2022 Nan Roma Winmar and Principal Pete Freeman represented Moorditj Noongar at the 2021 WA Day Parade at Government House this morning. Nan Roma offered a stirring Welcome to Country and Hon Kim Beazley AC, Governor of Western Australia spoke proudly about the importance volunteering and service. Hundreds of youth cadets from the Armed Services, Police and Emergency Services conducted a stunning march for the crowd. Nan Roma also received a Certificate of Recognition from the President of the Royal Commonwealth Society Mr Terry Spiro MEM, FIEAust.

19.01.2022 The Moorditj Noongar Community College Choir performed a beautiful version of We are one at the Midland March that Matters. Special thanks to Ms Candice, Nan Roma, Qynn and Ms Sally for preparing the kids so well. They were amazing!

12.01.2022 Camp Day 1 - Done & Dusted What a great first day! We completed the Pinjarra Challenge, had a bombie competition in the pool, ate tonnes of sugar during night games and played some intense games of spotlight. High Ropes and Canoeing are on the menu today.

If you have lost the note just send in the money tomorrow ($3 per person) and you will be added to the list. Students can order for their families too. If you don’t order there is no guarantee there will be enough for you on the day. Can’t wait to see you all there!
10.01.2022 Ms Evans Pre-Primary class have been reading the Gingerbread Man and today they made their own Gingerbread Men. They are holding on tight so they don’t run away!
09.01.2022 We played the finals of our Inter-school Basketball competition today against Clayton View PS. Moorditj Noongar’s two teams the Panthers and the Redbacks played an awesome final in front of the crowd. The Panthers won a close game 50 - 35 over the Redbacks. Well done to Lachlan and Kobe for winning the sportsmanship awards and thanks to Effie, Miss Sally, Mr Will and Ms Stef for coaching throughout term 3. Thanks also to Mr Knuckey for lending us the bus too. We are hoping to play Indoor Soccer next term.
09.01.2022 What an awesome Sports Carnival. It was great to see so many family members at Moorditj Noongar supporting the kids. Congratulations to Yongka on your close win and to our champion athletes. Great sportsmanship was on display all day. Birdiya Booyi was very proud of our school and we hope to see you all at our Parent Night on Wednesday 23rd September at 5pm.
09.01.2022 We are still chasing a large amount of Swimming Notes and monies for lessons. All Moorditj Noongar children from PP to Yr6 are participating from next Tuesday 8th June. Please have all forms and $30 payment returned to school by Wednesday 2nd June. Please contact the school if you are having difficulty with payment.

07.01.2022 Our Interschool Basketball teams - the Redbacks & the Panthers had a visit from the Perth Wildcats yesterday. NBL MVP Bryce Cotton and forward Wani Swaka Lo Buluk ran a fantastic session with our kids. We might have a few Moorditj Noongar Wildcats in the next few years. Go Wildcats!
07.01.2022 Thanks to Swan View Senior High School, the Deadly Sista Girlz and the Wirrpanda Foundation for their awesome donation to Moorditj Noongar. The students will enjoy milo, new writing books and stickers. Deadly!

05.01.2022 Today we had a visit from the Midland Fire station. We learn about fire safety then got to have a turn spraying water from the fire truck hose. What an amazing experience
