24.01.2022 I will be at the club tomorrow night (Monday) from 5.50pm until 7pm for anyone who would like to purchase socks and shorts and for U7 teams to collect team playing shirts. 23.01.2022 Hi Team About an hour ago, Football Brisbane published the first few rounds of matches for our teams. This does not include our U7s - we are an in house comp and I will do those on return from holidays. So please go to the Football Brisbane website and find your team. If something looks a bit strange, leave it until tomorrow, chances are they will fix it up by then. There are lots of divisions but we are always South ... Cheers Jemma

23.01.2022 An inspection on our fields has just been carried out and there is still a lot of water in and around our grounds and playing areas. Therefore I am making the decision to keep the fields closed for tonight, Monday the 27th of July. 23.01.2022 One sleep to go!!! Important Info! Hi Team I hope the kids are as excited as I am about finally getting to play football tomorrow A couple of things with regards to Covid.... You will be required to register your attendance at the ground tomorrow. You can do this very simply by scanning a QR code that you will find on our yellow men that we will have positioned around the grounds. Please remember to "Check In" and "Check Out" of MFC. I believe you will have to enter your details the first time you scan but from there you will be remembered and you will be required to do this when visiting other clubs also. Your coaches have been emailed a copy of the QR code, so they may have that available for you. We won't reach any capacity restrictions, so there is no limit of only one parent per player for spectators. Please don't forget your $7 match fee. Your team manager will come and collect this from you and it is used to pay the referees and the ongoing costs of running our club. At this stage we are not allowed to have "team" fruit. So if your child likes an orange or strawberry at half time, please provide that on an individual level. Also don't forget to grab your coffee and bacon and egg burger from the canteen in the morning. We have a barista on site brewing nice warm delicious coffee, tea and hot chocolates. And the BBQ will be fired up to cook you all breakfast. The combo special is a Bacon and Egg Roll, Hash Brown and Regular Coffee for $10. Mmmmmmm breakfast a Moooroodu Also our famous hot chips will of course be available. As usual all fixtures with field allocations will be on the back of the front door of the clubhouse. Please remember to social distance to ensure everyone's health and we shall see you all tomorrow. Can't wait Jemma

Introduce yourself as the coach and let them know when training starts etc please U7s - we need to get you all together because a lot of you are very new. 21.01.2022 U7 - Mini Muster, Monday the 22nd of June. All U7's have been emailed their team allocation and team sheets. You have also been invited to attend a mini muster on Monday the 22nd of June. Half of the teams have been asked to come at 5pm and the other half 6pm. Could I ask that only 1 parent attends and no siblings where possible so that we can minimise the numbers and remain within our Covid Guidelines.... This will be a great opportunity to meet your teammates and sort out Coaches and training times etc. I will also explain everything you will need to know for the season ahead. 21.01.2022 Clubhouse open tomorrow morning (Saturday) from 10am until Midday! If you would like to come and purchase uniform please pop down. If any Mini Roo coaches are available to come and collect your team balls and hand sanitiser please pop down and say hello.... If any of the Junior team coaches or managers would like to pop down and grab the hand sanitiser that would be awesome. Also if you have put your hand up to Coach - thank you so very much! But could I ask that you make sure you have contacted your team and let them know of the training night etc and when you are starting. 14.01.2022 Wet Weather Procedure Tomorrow morning around 7am a decision regarding Mooroondus fields will be made. Teams visiting other clubs should check the wet weather page on the Football Brisbane website to see if the ground they are travelling to is open or closed. 14.01.2022 A massive congratulations to our U12 Div 6 and U13 Div 2 teams who took out this years competition and have been named Champions of 2020! I believe both teams only lost one game all year. An absolutely awesome achievement Both teams will be collecting these trophies and their premiership medals on Friday night along with their MFC trophies and photos.... 01.01.2022 Trophies, Photos and Jersey Returns. Hi Everyone On Friday the 13th of November, I will be at the clubhouse from 4pm until 7pm for the return of Jerseys and the pick up of Photos and Trophies. So I ask that a representative from each team, please come down to the clubhouse during that time so we can do a swap.... I have put it on this date as a number of teams still have make up and grading matches to play this weekend, so this date provides the opportunity for everyone to come and return clean jerseys. As some of you may be aware, when the jerseys are returned they are placed on coat hangers and grouped as sets. I also ask that a Team Jersey Return Slip is filled out. This is immensely helpful to workout what we need moving into next season and when each team completes their own, it saves me at least a full day of sorting through the shirts, so it is greatly appreciated. Good luck to all of our teams who still have matches this weekend, and I will see some of you when you come down on Friday the 13th. Cheers Jemma
