25.01.2022 Just a brief update for everyone. COVID 19 has been challenging for everyone including our small committee. Normally we would be organising our stall holder s...pots, selling raffle tickets and just streamlining everything ready for a great day. Unfortunately this year we haven’t been able to run a raffle, quiz night or any of our normal fundraisers so the event could be free for all to attend. As we want to keep this event free for the public we will be preparing for a 2021 event. Watch this space for how you can support us moving forward (but a raffle ticket, have a table at quiz night etc) Thanks for being so patient with us through these tougher times See more

11.01.2022 #IMPORTANT Schneider Electric is recalling a range of Clipsal 10mA residual current devices (RCDs). The RCDs are likely installed in hospitals, aged care facil...ities and schools. They may also be in homes where the occupant has medical home care. Review any of your work since 1 July 2017 that involved installing Clipsal 10mA socket outlets and service panel RCDs. Let the home or business owner know about the risk of electric shock and advise them to contact Clipsal to arrange rectification. Stop using these products and if you see or work on one let the home or business owner know. Read more here https://www.worksafe.qld.gov.au//recall-of-clipsal-socket- See more

11.01.2022 Report heavy vegetation around power lines on and near your property, and ensure large machinery, like caravans or tractors on farms, don't obstruct lines. Report to SA Power Networks on 131261. Electrical and gas safety saves lives.
