25.01.2022 Country Pennants is over for another year. We had 7 swimmers participating in 28 individual races and 6 relays we finished with 5 gold and 9 bronze medals over the weekend. Demi won gold in her butterfly and backstroke events Kirsty and Amelia earned a bronze in their backstroke events today and the 12 and under freestyle relay team came home with a bronze. You all swam hard and We thank you for representing Morawa Amateur Swimming Club and well done on all your personal achi...evements over the weekend. Now rest up and enjoy the rest of the weekend. Looking forward to and time to start planning for Country Pennants in Mt Barker in 2021. I hope everyone had an enjoyable long weekend no matter what you were doing. 23.01.2022 This is amazing, the new equipment shed is now finished. Well done to everyone involved in getting this project sorted.

21.01.2022 The day is finally over, freestyle medals went to Demi who blitzed them in the 16&under 50 freestyle event to get gold, Charlie & Amelia who won their first Country Pennants medals claiming bronze in 50m freestyle, Christi & James who got bronze for their 50meter freestyle events, James by only 0.11 seconds. This was a really tight finish for bronze as there was a draw for fourth Amber and James who won bronze in the 100m OPEN freestyle event. We only brought a small team o...ver but the kids are doing so well. Thank you to all the parents for their organisation it has been a wonderful help. The kids are all ready for their events and in the marshalling area before I can even say boo. It has taken a heap of stress off of me so thank you Dee, Michael, Marika and Sam. 20.01.2022 The swimming club are catering for the shire xmas party on the 18th December at the oval function centre. Below is a list of what everyone has kindly offered to make. Thankyou everyone for putting your hand up to help. Very much appreciated! This catering job will greatly assist in providing equipment for our club to continue to offer coaching and swimming to our community. Thankyou

19.01.2022 Because of the colder weather, swimming club will start up on Tuesday 16th of February.

17.01.2022 Hello everyone Just letting you know that there are only 2 swimming trainings left for the season. We will have training tomorrow as per usual times There will be NO training this Friday and Tuesday March 31st will be our club wind up there will be training as per usual times followed by a Sausage sizzle. 16.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Just letting you know that the Swim Club wind up has been moved forward to tomorrow afternoon. We may have a splash in the pool followed by a Sausage Sizzle. Swimming WA have advised that Swim clubs can continue training as long as the pool remains open and we ALL practice social distancing. (Which maybe hard at a pool) It will be up to you as a parent to decide whether you attend or not though we advise if you or your family are unwell please do not attend Thi...s may change at any time but we will keep you updated. 15.01.2022 Time trials for swimming club will be held this Monday the 7th December starting at 330. This is a chance to get a time for each stroke so that your children can work to improve their pb over the year. Noodle race for tadpoles for those that wish to join in. Normal swimming club will still be on Tuesday the 8th. Last swimming club for the 2020 year will be Tuesday 15th followed by a sausage sizzle.

13.01.2022 Great work Linda, Haylie & Darren for all your hard work and the Shire of Morawa for all your support in getting this organised A long awaited and overdue upgrade to our equipment shed. Great to see the progress. We can’t wait to see the finished result and all the extra space we will have.

12.01.2022 Due to Morawa swimming lessons, There will be NO tadpole training on Friday 6th and Friday 13th March. Tadpole training will be held on Tuesday 10th March. 09.01.2022 The Morawa Amateur Swimming Club Committee would like to Acknowledge the Shire of Morawa for their help and support in the building of the new equipment shed at the Morawa Pool. We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to secure funding for this project through the Morawa Sinosteel Future Fund Grant. This was a much needed upgrade as our club continues to grow. We cannot wait to see the member’s enjoying this new space. 3 of our committee members headed down this afternoon to check the new shed out and we are very impressed. Thank you again to the Shire of Morawa and the Morawa Sinosteel Future Fund.

05.01.2022 Hi Everyone, It was a difficult decision to make as we were hoping to get one more last get together in but after further discussion with the committee, we have decided to CANCEL the Wind up that was scheduled for today. Our members health, safety and well-being as well as our families, are our number one priority at this time and we felt that it would be to difficult to monitor social distancing at the pool. 05.01.2022 UNO fun while waiting for our first races. The first event of the day for us was Charlie Swimming the 10 and under 50m butterfly. Demi to follow then everyone’s backstroke events and freestyle relays. Updates will come at the end of the day. So proud of all our swimmers.
