16.01.2022 Yesterday our Year 7 STEAM Class had a visit from STEM Punks. Students were asked to design their own Future City by using Design Thinking and discussing 'What would MY future city look like?'. For the first session students were asked to design a future building by drawing the building in 2D and asked to replicate the drawing as a 3D object by using software called TinkerCAD. Students were then given the challenge to design a Future City, they had the opportunity to incorp...orate animals, buildings, nature and their own 3D designed building. The final stage was to make the 3D environment come to life with the use of animations, web images and coding. All students had success in the program and will use their new skills in Term 4 across all of their curriculum subjects.
