22.01.2022 Regularly cleaning and disinfecting ‘high-touch' surfaces (such as benchtops, desks, tables, keyboards, phones, doorknobs and light switches) can help to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. Use hot water and detergent to clean away dirt, then a disinfectant product to kill germs.

18.01.2022 Important message to our valued patients, We are now offering phone or video consultations for all patients. These virtual telehealth appointments are an easy and effective way of managing any concerns you may have in regards to your physical or mental health. ... As part of the Federal Government’s coronavirus response plan, all clinics are moving to telehealth consulting to keep you, and the clinic staff, as safe as can be. So, if you need to get in touch with your doctor, please book an online appointment through our website www.morelandgp.com.au, or phone our friendly reception team on 9385 1250. An initial appointment will be made with your doctor as either a phone or video consultation, and then after this consultation, arrangements can be made if you need to be seen face to face in the clinic. We will still be offering childhood immunisations, antenatal care reviews, and other services such as wound care or contraceptive or osteoporosis (Prolia) injections in the clinic. We would still ask that in the first instance you book a telehealth consult so that the bulk of the consultation can be via phone. We understand that this is a period of significant anxiety and uncertainty for everyone, and we would like to support you as best we can. If you are feeling stressed or overwhelmed, please contact us if we can assist. Mental Health Care Plans can be completed via Telehealth. In addition, for those of our patients with chronic disease, our GP Management Plans can also be completed via Telehealth. Psychologists, physiotherapists, and other allied health specialists are also offering telehealth consultations so you will be supported for all your needs. Please stay safe, maintain your social distancing, limit your movements out of your home to necessary visits only, and keep washing your hands! Together we will get through this! Kind regards, The Team at Moreland General Practice
