20.01.2022 Christmas and New Year Closure We will be closed for Christmas and New Years from COB Wednesday 23rd December until Monday January 4th 2021. UPDATED DATES... The last day for data recovery and computer book in jobs will be Friday 27th Nov to ensure all jobs are completed and returned to customers by the 18th of Dec. All new Book in Queue jobs will recommence from Tuesday 5th Jan 2021. We will still be able to assist customers at the front counter for quick fixes and reviews. Phone repairs which requires parts to be ordered will continue until Tuesday 15th December (allowing for delivery in pre-Christmas period). We will be doing quick repairs (with instore stock) and data transfers between Wednesday 16th through the Wednesday 23rd Dec. Phone jobs will recommence Tuesday 5th Jan 2021 We thank everyone this year for their support and business in what was has been a crazy 2020 and we wish everyone a wonderful Christmas with a Safe Happy New Year

Here at Need a Nerd we see lots of phones come in with this problem and 9 times out of 10 it is caused by dust and fluff in your charge port. So if you're sick of doing handstands just to charge your phone, bring it down to the shop and we will clean it all out and have it good as new!

02.01.2022 Need A Nerd tip of the week; Telstra, NBN, Microsoft ect, will never call you if there is a problem with your internet or computer, they will also never display a message on your device saying there is a problem. If you do get a call for someone saying they are from one of these companies hang up immediately, or if a message appears on your machine shut it down and bring it to us. If you have any concerns don't hesitate to call the nerds.
