19.01.2022 17/07/2020 Walker Seafoods Fishing Vessel Predator It has been sometime since we saw Walker Seafoods Fishing Vessel Predator. All hands on deck was required for a quick turn around and get this 22M Westcoaster back into the water and fishing. First priority was to reseal the individual cold store-rooms. Hatch frames removed to allow our guys to trim, level and re-laminate the tops of the cold-room holds. New buffing strip was installed along the Sponson. Very clean and neat f...inish with long life expected. Some delamination around the Bulbous Bow was repaired. New rear access door made out of foam and epoxy. Quite often these go overboard and are lost. So the vessels name and owners mobile number was put on to identify the owner if such a situation should arise, clever! RL_Marine pulled the running gear out for the Survey checks required. The prop was also built up, machine and balanced prior to installation. Windscreens re-seal with several hatched replaced. Jimmy Canvas and Bags has done some repairs and modification to the aft awning and relashed. MBBW again thank Pavo and Phil for choosing us to do all the required hull maintenance to 1 of their Fishing Vessels working out of Mooloolaba. For all new construction, modifications and or repairs to all Ice-box, Cold Rooms, come visit the specialists @ Moreton Bay Boat Works. All inquiries please contact us at; [email protected] See you all at The Boat Works from August the 3rd 2020. See more

09.01.2022 Come on in and say hello!

09.01.2022 The lovely "Lady Kendall" steamed up to Coomera from down south to have some major planking and rib work done by MBBW at The Boatworks. Works included having MBBW replace planks on both the starboard and port aft sections, about 7 to 8 metres on each side, replaced 4 to 5 Sister Ribs on each side as well in the tiller flat. Up around midships they replaced more planking and sister ribs in behind the genset. On the back deck they replaced deck planks and deck beams, resized and refitted Sampson posts. Removed and repaired some rot in the forward bulkhead as well as some work around the moldings and replacing starboard log. As always our boys did an awesome job and the owner was absolutely stoked with all the work done. She is now on her way to a very happy new owner. She was spotted in Mooloolaba yesterday!
