25.01.2022 One of our super juniors Lachy was lucky enough to attend a training session at Melbourne Park with @rafaelnadals head Coach @carlosdemoya back in January this year. Lachy started with us on the peewee courts when he was just 4 years old!

14.01.2022 As we are all aware, The Victorian Premier has announced new restrictions and a Stay at Home Directive for 6 weeks for Metropolitan Melbourne from 11.59pm 8 July. During this time, tennis has been identified as an activity which can continue, with restrictions. Casual play (public court hire or club members) for members of the same household or for 2 people from different households is permitted, as is coaching for members of the same household or one to one coaching. Tennis ...equipment must not be shared, and no one from outside a lockdown area may play at a facility within the lockdown area and vice versa. Strict adherence to physical distancing and hygiene protocols is essential. In Metropolitan Melbourne, anyone playing tennis must Get In. Play. Get Out. As a physical distancing sport, tennis is in a strong position to continue to provide exercise opportunities to assist the community to stay physically and mentally well during this challenging time. We are setting up a Term 3 private lesson only period beginning July 13th - August 21st. We will be taking bookings online for those who are interested in one-on-one coaching or a semi-private with members from the same household. A link to book online will be supplied shortly. 13.01.2022 What a final Day of our Christmas clinic we had with huge numbers enjoying heaps of different activities and games. Thanks once again to our fabulous coaches who delivered our program and kept all junior engaged and smiling! 12.01.2022 What a Day 1 we had at our Xmas Clinic at St James with huge numbers enrolled all enjoying various tennis activities. Here is some footage of our ‘ Red Ballers’ practicing some racquet skills drills. Let’s hope the weather Gods are kind for tomorrow and stay tuned for more.

10.01.2022 Once again our 13 Junior weekend Pennant teams have performed brilliantly in a difficult shortened season. Congratulations to our victorious teams - Saturday Boys Sect 6 St James ( pic below)... - Saturday Boys Sect 7 St Joan Of Arc ( pic below) In addition to this in Sunday Bayside Region comp we had : - Sect 2 St Joan Of Arc Finish 2nd on ladder - Sect 20 St James Finish Top of ladder - Sect 23 St James Finish 2nd on ladder Well done to all juniors on completing a difficult year for everyone and we are so happy that we could all get back playing some competition once again. A huge thanks to our Junior conveners : Cath Palumbo , Seonad Smith, Michelle OBrien and Michae Cunningham and we look forward to a bigger and better 2021.

10.01.2022 With all junior group classes recommencing next Monday now is a great opportunity to get your child back into some tennis. Tennis is possibly the most COVID safe sport that anyone could do and it is easy for us to maintain distancing within classes. Regardless of your child’s age (5 -16 yrs) and ability levels we have a class to suit every player.... Please pass on to any family or friends that may be interested. See below for schedule and for comp level juniors there are other options also. Please note limited places available so get in quick!

09.01.2022 What a fab first week back we have had at both clubs and so great to see many of our students and families again! We will again be conducting private and semi private lessons this week both BEFORE and AFTER school each day. Most of our students have lost 6 months of their development and physical literacy so ACT now - we can make this time up if you are proactive.... Here is some footage of our ‘Red Baller ‘ little star Reuben with Jordy yesterday. Reuben has a great session hitting heaps of ground strokes again and having heaps of fun too! 07.01.2022 Hi guys todays activity is called Serve and target. See how you incorporating a serve against wall and the next shot at a target area. Lets hope the current restrictions will lift shortly and we can be back out on court.

07.01.2022 Here is some action of our ‘ Red Ballers ‘ on Day 2 of our ‘Super Clinic ‘today. This drill is working on agility, small steps, coordination and forehand and backhand stroke development all with big smiles on their faces. These drills are just part of the reason that children enrolled in our program all emd up playing at good / high levels with CONTINUITY of good coaching.... A reminder that we still have some places available next week if keen to get the kids active again and improving their skills.

02.01.2022 Term 1 ‘ Super clinic ‘ done and dusted and what a blast we had! A super group of kids aged 5-15 years all enjoying various drills and activities each day. Here is some footage of our obstacle course group warm up utilising step ladders, the wining and catching moving laterally and throwing at targets....
