14.01.2022 I understand people are angry, upset and scared by the current fires - and rightly so. But now isn't the time to play politics or spread hate, the finger point...ing can come later. People are dying, families have lost everything dear to them and there is more bad weather to come. Everywhere you turn is more bad news. But what makes me truly proud to be Australian is the response of all the communities, Firefighters putting their lives on the line for people they have never met, the ground swell of support in volunteers and donations of food, accomodation, supplies, animal shelter and food. Stop sharing the spam and the memes, let's start sharing where you can donate (I'll be donating what i can ) or volunteer, let's share the support so those fighting the fires and living through this know, Australia is behind you! #AustraliaIsBehindYou See more
