25.01.2022 The Australian Government has announced it will restrict entry to travellers from Mainland China. Temporary visa holders will be impacted, with only Australian Citizens / Permanent Residents to be permitted to enter. Further details can be found on the Department of Home Affairs website.

20.01.2022 I just had the pleasure of telling a lovely client that his wife has FINALLY got her visa. This is the third attempt at a partner visa (this case was not lodged by our business - sadly, they used an unregistered agent from overseas). We had to fix many mistakes and seek support from a Federal Minister get the application back on track. Fortunately we were able to save the application. My client was so emotional he cried - which is totally understandable. ... 11.01.2022 Check your agent is Registered! So much damage can be done to your immigration status if you use an unregistered agent. We know... we have to fix their mistakes, which is timely, expensive and stressful for visa applicants. Did you know the first two digits of your migration agent’s MARN indicate the year they were first registered? Eg: Kristie’s MARN is 1068715, so registered in 2010 (a senior agent in the industry). It can be a great way to check how much experience your agent has! Choose wisely!
