14.01.2022 A huge thank you to all who came and volunteered to clean up around Moriarty Park- we had adults, children as young as 3 and even Charlie the dog. Fun morning, 6 bags of rubbish and some unusual finds along Canungra Creek bank- a door, a cage and interior floor of a motor vehicle( we thought) ! 14.01.2022 Please be aware that Scenic Rim Sportsdog Club have booked the Moriarty Park field on Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd. The dogs & their handlers will begin on Saturday( after Soccer concludes) to 4pm & from 8:30 - 4pm on Sunday. If you need to walk your beloved dog in this area, please have them on a leash, as is the requirement from SRR Council as well. The off leash dog park is always available for your pooches run & fun!

09.01.2022 Clean up Australia Day. Come & join us as we Clean up Moriarty Park. Cr Virginia West will be there handing out free gloves & bags as well as helping pick up rubbish. She had some weird & wonderful finds last year! Just bring your own hat & drink bottle & we’ll have the area sparkling in no time. We’ll be concentrating on the area around the park, skate park , Coburg Rd & around Lions Park. Bring the kids, and see who finds the most! Kicks off at 8am. See you all there!

07.01.2022 Unfortunately the Committee has had to make the decision to cancel the Hinterland Feast Christmas event, because of the continuing wet weather. We have however, decided to have a Christmas in July 2021. This will be advertised closer to time. Happily , Santa still wishes to come along & pass out lollies to all the children, so please keep checking this page as to when he can arrive , as it is also dependant on the weather!

07.01.2022 The Committee wishes to advise that Moriarty Park Hall is closed to all bookings, until further notice. The Playground is also closed, in-line with Federal Government directions. The field may still be used , however current Social Distancing requirements are to be strictly followed. Further information will be made available, when the situation changes. Stay apart & Stay safe everyone.

06.01.2022 A kind donation of 3 Tennis racquets from Robyn Denmeade , to us for when the tennis courts & Social Tennis restarts. You’ll be able to come along and give tennis a try! Also behind the scenes Stu Magoo is apparently working hard on questions for when Trivia is back on. Why is there an evil grin when he tells me that Should be a massive night when Trivia restarts!
