12.01.2022 Hyundai has been a fixture of the World Rally Championship since 2014, now the South Korean brand has taken the knowledge learned on the special stage and put it into a road car. Hyundai has used the i20 as the basis for its WRC challenger, but this is the first time it has made a hot hatch variant for the road, following in the wheel tracks of the Subaru WRX and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. It also pits Hyundai against its current WRC rival, Toyota, with its upcoming GR Yar...is. It comes with a 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine. The i20 N makes 150KW of power and 275Nm of torque. It’s paired exclusively to a six-speed manual transmission, to target enthusiast buyers. Australian specifications for the i20 N (aswell as pricing), won’t be revealed until closer to the launch in the first half of 2021. This is also when we expect the updated i30 N to be ready - making 2021 a big one for @hyundai_worldwide expanding performance division!

02.01.2022 Winter is here and part of that comes the dreaded iced up windscreen! If your car is parked outside overnight you have more than likely woken up to a view like this before! The best solution for this is:... Start your car Get the demisters on to do their job Pouring cold water over an already thin layer of ice can create an even thicker one that will leave you out in the cold (literally). On the other hand, pouring a bucket of boiling hot water over your windshield isn’t advised either. Going from one extreme to another can cause cracks and breaking which not only means missing work, but also receiving an extra bill you don’t need. To prevent any ice from forming on your windshield overnight, try placing something over it. Anything from a towel to a large piece of cardboard will do. If this is something that happens frequently, consider buying a magnetic windshield cover to save you some time and laundry. Just don’t forget to put it in place the night before.
