More than 45 Bosch engineers have been working on the devel...opment vehicle this year and the build has included an additional 60 new components to the car including 6 radars, 6 laser sensors (LIDAR), high definition GPS (accurate to 2cm), stereo video camera, 2kms of cable and enough computing power to process more than 1 terabyte of data per day. We are delighted to partner with the Victorian Government, TAC and VicRoads on this exciting project.

15.01.2022 TURN YOUR HEADLIGHTS ON IN THE FOG! The weather is getting cooler and some fog has been rolling in, seriously decreasing visibility on our roads and creating da...ngerous conditions. How many cars came towards you out of the fog this morning without their headlights on? Hard to see werent they? Its common sense to put your headlights on in such conditions, and apart from that, its also the law. Road Rule 215.1.a states; "A driver must not drive at night, or in hazardous weather conditions causing reduced visibility unless the headlights, tail lights and number plate light fitted to the drivers vehicle are operating effectively and are clearly visible." Remember the law (and common sense) says HEADlights, not parking lights. Parking lights are for parking, not for use when driving. The penalty if intercepted committing this offence is a $238 fine and 1 demerit point. The penalty if someone pulls out in front of you because they couldnt see you in the fog without your headlights on could be much worse. (Author: VP30339)
