02.01.2022 The Mornington Clay Target Club is proud to announce a special DTL event to be held at 10AM Saturday, 31st July 2021. MCTC will work in conjunction with McGrath Foundation to raise funds for the McGrath Breast Care Nurses who provide invaluable support and care to women and men experiencing breast cancer. ALL PROFITS from the day will be donated to the McGrath Foundation. ... We have all been touched by cancer in some way and we feel this is a great way for our members, our club and the shooting fraternity in general to show what great people we are. Even if you cannot attend the event, you can make donations at http://mcgrath.morningtonctc.com at any time until the event is over. Any donations through that portal will be noted as having been raised by the club, please do not donate through any Facebook driven portals. The event itself is open to ALL clay target shooters. We have special permission to allow this, thus any competitors from SCA, Field & Game or SSAA etc. are welcome and insured. Visitors book must be signed by non ACTA members. To our club member beginner/novice shooters and juniors, loan guns are available and must be pre-booked. The event itself is 90 targets (NOT a medley) and incorporates: 30tgt DB 30tgt SB 30Tgt PS Each event will pay graded prizes. The Graded high guns (and two wild cards) will then transfer to a 25tgt DB Barrage final with AA shooting from scratch and lower grades receiving targets in (handicap to be confirmed and program subject to change due to numbers/weather etc). The minimum prize pool of the final will be $1,000 cash. We will run a raffle on the day, again all proceeds going to McGrath Foundation, food and drinks will be available. We are very excited to host this initiative and call on all shooters to help however they can; whether it be a donation of only $5.00 or by sharing this post amongst their friends and family. Let’s show the world what we can do!
