25.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE Mornington Foot Clinic and Frankston Foot Clinic are still open for business but please note we have taken the necessary precautions to protect our clients, team and the wider community. With the recent COVID-19 outbreak we have taken significant action to ensure our hygiene & cleaning standards are at an even higher level than usual.... We are screening all clients - we ask you to please kindly reschedule your appointment if: (a) you have cold or flu like symptoms; (b) you have been on an aeroplane in the last 14 days; (c) you have been in close contact with a confirmed case of coronavirus in the last 14 days There are alcohol-based hand sanitiser provided in our waiting room for your use before and after your appointment. Please kindly cover your mouth while coughing or sneezing and dispose of tissues in the bin and then use our alcohol-based hand sanitiser We have increased the frequency of our current infection and hygiene process which include more frequent disinfection of desk tops, light switches, doorknobs and the eftpos machine that are used by clients. Practitioners and admin staff continue to wash their hands between consultations and use hand sanitiser We have asked, where possible, patients attend the clinic on their own and do not bring partners/children with them (we understand exceptions to this) Seating in the waiting area has been spaced and no reading materials/toys will be provided to prevent cross contamination Internal Education on COVID-19 signs & symptoms to identify and prevent transmission. 01.01.2022 Sam Wright, dedicated defender for the Kangaroos, has turned to ballet to rehabilitate his syndesmosis injury/surgery and forefoot stress reaction. He wears a new pair of Asics boots every week to ensure they remain stiff enough to reduce load through his forefoot. Whist this is great for Sam, a podiatrist might have some more economical solutions to reduce load through the feet during sport.
