05.01.2022 With a few showers giving the property some TLC over the past couple of weeks which has turned the countryside green again, now is the time to take advantage some excellent shooting opportunities. It seems to have bought a new sense of life back into the wild boar population and the buffalo seem to like the early rains as well. If you have the time available, contact Simon at your earliest opportunity because the "wet" season is knocking on the door. On that note, wet season... hunting activities are also possible from helicopter, if that is your preference, again, if you are interested don't hesitate, available slots will fill quickly. Moroak is also taking bookings for the 2017 season which commences in May - "Wet" season influences permitting - and will continue until September-October. 02.01.2022 Located about one hours drive from Mataranka, Moroak Station sits in the banks of the picturesque Roper River. The homestead and other infrastructure is within an arboretum compound of native trees and shrubs and surrounded by well manicured lawns.The client accommodation at the station is in the form of two modern fully air-conditioned, self contained hunters lodges. Each has a large common room, leather suites, and satellite television. There are two en suite showers and to...ilet, with the bedrooms located at each end of the building. Each lodge can comfortably accommodate 5 as a standard, but can be increased as as demands require. A BBQ complete with in-built refrigerator to keep those necessary afternoon drinks at the right temperature is at the rear veranda.. Washing machines are located at the rear of each villa as well. Fresh water presents no problems whatsoever, the Roper River at this location has fresh running water year round.
