24.01.2022 Dear valued customers, friends & family. We are excited to announce the OPENING of our new diner on Tuesday 2nd June. As we enter this new phase in easing restrictions we have relocated the MSB dining area into our Moroccan courtyard at 316 St. Georges rd Fitzroy North. The space has been transformed and renewed to bring warmth comfort nourishment and a sense of wonder. We will open for lunch and dinner, and we will be able to host up to 15 people at any one time. With 1....5 hour sittings throughout the day /evening. We encourage you to book in order to control the flow and manage the social distancing required to keep everyone safe. Our takeaway continues from the front entrance, whilst the diner will be entered from the rear of the building. 19.01.2022 Although we were saddened to close the old(er) Moroccan soup bar location. I Was deeply moved to receive this book this morning; an ode to the MSB. it is indeed not the physicality of the space which defines us, rather it is our shared values with our communities. Thank you to the amazing Helen Kapalos for this moving tribute, and thank you to all in our communities who resonate with our values for a better society. Waking to the devastation which resulted in hard lockdown of 9 residential towers in our surrounding suburb.- the covid 19 pandemic has exposed the fragility & injustice of these systems. Locking down the towers is a triggering experience for many with terrible and predictable consequences that will outlast t...he pandemic. we are putting all our efforts in offering support to the communities in lockdown, working out logistics to enable the safe delivery of food to the residents. 05.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart and a profound sense of gratitude that we are leaving the Moroccan soup bar at 183 St. Georges rd and relocating to our new and exciting location 500 meters up the road at 316 St. Georges rd. We are saying goodbye to the old building. We are simultaneously reinventing responsible hospitality for our times at our MSB&2go. The MSB has been such an important part of our community and so many womens lives, we have seen generations grow, watching over ...our values and supporting communities. A big thank you to everyone who dined with us who walked into our spaces talked who visited who did takeout, thank you to all of you who enriched our lives. Its been a privilege to grow with you and with our community. We are designing the next chapter of dining in our beautifully theme-designed dining rooms.
