We can not run the railway effectively and efficiently for all visitors with the current restrictions.... Morphett Vale Railway often has 400 - 500 visitors on any given run day and with the current restrictions we would be limited to the number of passengers per train. We are eager to open again, however our main priority is the health, safety and welfare of our members and visitors. Morphett Vale Railway need to remain compliant with restrictions during this time to ensure that we can run again in the future. We would like to thank all of members and the community who are keen to get back to riding the trains for your cooperation, patience and understanding.

We have taken this precautionary action as it is our responsibility to look after the health and safety of our community and our members. This was by no means an easy decision for Morphe...tt Vale Railway to make, however one that we hope all members of the community understand and support. We will keep you all updated when new information and recommendations become available. We thank you for your understanding. See more

12.01.2022 Did you know you don't need to be a train enthusiast or even own a train to be a member of our club? We are in need of more members to help keep our railway running for years to come. All training is provided on site by club members. Member benefits include a great social environment. Great way to learn new skills. Learn how to be a train guard. Learn how to drive the club trains and so much more . We also hold Family days for our members and their family. Have member awards as well as a Christmas party/end of year party. If you or someone you know is looking for something to do and would love to help out please tell them to send us a message or call us on 08 8387 6564. Please share this post to your friends and family to help us reach out to as many people as we can. Thank you
