25.01.2022 Results of our conservatively remapped 2.8ltr Hilux combined with the fully automated Stocklock torque converter lock up kit. This vehicle now accelerates in 6th gear until the eco light turns off. The Dyno results show a proven vast enhancement again - even with a very mild & safe remap.

24.01.2022 Many of you may recognise this big rig from a past tv series of All 4 Adventure. The new owner brought it to us for a couple of mods including the removal of the previously installed chip & throttle booster. After some time on the Dyno, remapping & the installation of a Stocklock torque converter lock up kit, this vehicle now performs as good as it looks.

23.01.2022 Picture of one of the vehicles we had in this week for a service & found something’s just not quite right about this guy’s lower shocker mounts. Dave calls it (air suspension)! Nothing that a couple of heavy duty adjustable Tough Dogs won’t fix & with 9 adjustable settings he also gets to choose his own ride quality.

20.01.2022 ** A F I R S T ** Morris Motors is the first in Australia to install & test the latest fully automated Stocklock Torque converter lockup kit to the new 2.8ltr Hilux. (also available for 2.8ltr Prado) We have been installing these in 200 series for some time now & what a transformation they make. Reduction in torque converter slippage, more power & torque transferred to the wheels, improved 5th & 6th gear holding, improved fuel economy & lower transmission temperatures. The results on this post are on a standard 2.8ltr Hilux. See our impressive Dyno results in our next post where we combined our remapping with a Stocklock Auto lock up kit.

20.01.2022 Hows is your Hilux or Prado performing? Blocked intake manifolds are a common problem on a lot of diesel vehicles. The Hilux that we have here this week is up there with the worst we have seen.

18.01.2022 Here’s a Ranger with some extra grunt! We remapped this manual 3.2ltr Ranger this week with some very impressive results. Power & torque where you want it with 40 to 50% increases from 1500rpm to 2600rpm Peak power was 101kw now 123kw. Peak torque was 319nm now a whopping 456nm under 2000rpm!!

15.01.2022 The last couple of remap jobs for the year are out & ready for pick up. It’s been an extremely busy year that has well & truly exceeded our expectations. We have also had the pleasure of working on some great vehicles & meeting some fantastic people along the way. 11.01.2022 OUR BIGGEST IMPROVEMENT YET We were told this V8 79 series was severely lacking in its standard power but we didn’t realise how much until we could prove it by putting it on our Dyno well down with only 80kws & 243nm at the wheels. A variance in standard power figures between some vehicles is common. Most we see with this issue, can be bought back to life given that the vehicle is in good mechanical condition. This one received an exhaust upgrade including x over pipe, heav...y duty clutch and a day on the dyno conservatively custom tuning this one for weight carrying - check out the result. 100% more torque & 70 % more power bringing it in line with others & we have modified & tuned to a similar spec. 09.01.2022 70 series Cruiser X over pipes. We removed the standard puny exhaust system off a 79 series Cruiser, with a twist of the arm this customer went the whole hog with a new x over pipe which was literally double in diameter. Combined with a Morris Motors remap - the results are simply awesome!

05.01.2022 One of the many standard DPF model 200 series we see delivering 40% of extra torque to the wheels. We pair some conservative dyno remapping along with the fully automated Stocklock torque converter lock up kit, which reduces the horrid torque converter slip & dramatically lowers transmission temperatures (especially when towing). Very simple Reduce the transmission slip to increase the low down power delivery to the wheels, without the need of excessively tuning your vehicle for a great result!

02.01.2022 Due to the popularity of our Hilux posts we thought we would share our 200 series dyno results & the improvements made using a fully automated Stocklock torque converter transmission lock up kit to a stock standard vehicle. We drive, tow & test with the 200 series ourselves & we have been fitting lock up kits for some time now. The improvements we see are significant with huge reductions in transmission temperatures & around 10% improvements to fuel economy when towing.... Another benefit is the vehicles ability to hold lower rpm because of the reduction in torque converter slippage - transferring the extra drive to the wheels (as shown on our graph) Combine this with our performance ECU Remapping & the vehicle is just outstanding.
