21.01.2022 We’ve heard about the shortage of backpackers coming to pick our fruit and veg. But it turns out the same worker shortage is hitting other farmers just as hard.

09.01.2022 Confused about when to wear a mask on a farm? From 11:59pm on Sunday face masks will become mandatory for all Victorians when out of their homes. Premier Da...niel Andrews has clarified when masks need to be worn for those who live on farms. He called for a common-sense approach, and gave a number of situational examples of when a mask is required. Essentially: If you’re working alone on your farm and not coming into contact with other people, a mask IS NOT needed. If you’re working on your farm with people who live in the same house as you, a mask IS NOT needed. If you’re working on your farm alongside people who do not live in the same house as you, a mask IS REQUIRED. If it’s a family farm and you and members of your household, then common sense tells you that you don’t need to wear a mask, Mr Andrews said. But once you go past the front gate and go into town you would (need to wear a mask)."

08.01.2022 Must be great to be the parents of kids who NEVER DO anything wrong. Sadist part of being those parents is you haven’t taught your children anything about hones...ty or respect for other people’s property and yet you demand it for you and yours. These pictures are what yours did to my car and I can assure you if it had been my child I would have been the first to bring them to your house. Update My car was hit just before 2am Saturday morning/Friday night Reported from numerous persons in our area the car that hit mine was a light coloured 4 wheel drive with black bull bar, spotlight very noisy exhaust and a darker coloured canvas canopy. Apparently the canopy has been removed from the vehicle and the bull bar has been replaced. As stated previously as the parents of this person you know they have done the wrong thing but you still live in the dream world of not my kids and support them in their low acts. Great parenting is all I have to say on that mater. You must be so proud of them but more so proud of yourself for condoning this type of behaviour.

07.01.2022 On behalf of Andrew, Kaye and the team at Morrison shearing we would like to wish you all a safe and happy holidays! 2020 has been a year to remember for everyone and it’s definitely one we felt the pressure of without our fellow shearer’s from across the ditch but we made it through. Here’s to 2021 hopefully being bigger and brighter for everyone. Merry Christmas

04.01.2022 They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.

04.01.2022 Sandy Taupe hoodies are amazing with a print, these were screenprinted today

04.01.2022 According the the last census, out of a population of 25 million in Australia, just under 3000 people call themselves Shearers, and walk into Woolsheds just lik...e this and call it their office for the day. It's not everyones cup of tea I suppose, and you could call the job and people involved in the industry many things: Backbreaking, politically incorrect, dangerous, strenuous, funny and unique are some of the more common terms you hear thrown around. But in an age when there are far easier jobs and maybe even better ways to make money, the Shearing job is still an industry liker no other in Australia that continues to draw new people each year. Regardless of wether they work in it for a week or 30 years, everyone remembers their time spent in Shearing Sheds.
