10.01.2022 Where Are They Now Mudgee High School is proud of all of our students achievements while at school and post school. We delight in catching up with past students... to seen what they have been up to post school. We welcome to the spotlight Lochlan Mortensen. "Commencing year 7 in 2011, I finished up my High School journey at the end of year 10 in 2014. I always wanted to be an electrician but found that school just wasnt for me. So when the opportunity came, I was lucky enough to grab it and become an apprenticeship electrician at 16. After working hard and saving the majority of what I earned, I purchased my own home in 2018 at 19 years of age and have completely renovated it. I successfully completed my apprenticeship at the end of 2018, becoming a licensed electrician. At the end of 2019 I took a bold move to start my own electrical business. Thus, Mortos Electrical was born. My business took off and I have been working non-stop ever since. I now have my own apprentice and another tradesman working under me. I love that being an electrician in Mudgee allows me to make so many connections and meet lots of different people. Mudgee has such a strong field of tradespeople which is something great to be a part of!"
