24.01.2022 Youth Girls training has been cancelled tonight and will resume Wednesday night. Under 10's will train as normal. At this stage the latest change in COVID restrictions doesn't effect club trainings. Please ensure we continue to follow the clubs return to training protocols which can be viewed on Morwell Junior Football Club, Team App

23.01.2022 CGJFL UPDATE: RETURNING TO TRAIN On the back of today’s State Government announcement around easing some restrictions, AFL Victoria have informed us that the position remains that no sanctioned training should take place until further notice. A number of considerations around health and safety protocols and insurance are being worked through currently. We are waiting on a return to play plan from AFL Victoria and Netball Victoria, which will be available in due course. CGJFL ...understands how eager many of you are to return to Football. We share that enthusiasm in returning and will provide our clubs and participants with a clear plan for returning as soon as we possibly can. Further announcements on a return to play will be provided to our community in the coming weeks. In the short term we encourage our community to stay safe and follow government advice and protocols, so we can return to footy as soon as possible. Please see AFL Gippsland's statement below

We as a club are still unsure of what the 2020 season will look like and are currently looking into possibilities of a return to training at some stage once further restrictions are eased. 18.01.2022 After a Central Gippsland Junior Football Club League meeting this evening, taking into account the sudden spike in Covid-19 cases in Victoria, it was decided that it would be in the best interests of our players and families that the 2020 Season be cancelled. Morwell Junior Football Club will be providing more details in the coming days. As we believe our kids should still be able to enjoy their footy, we will still be training until further notice, or until such time as it is no longer safe to do so.

18.01.2022 Colin from Gippsland Dentures will be at the club this Tuesday 7th July from 5pm onwards to take orders for those needing custom mouthguards and to answer any questions in regards to fitment, pricing etc. Moulds will be made on the night so mouthguards can be ready for before our first games in two weeks

18.01.2022 The MJFC Under 12 group will return to training at 5pm this Thursday night, with our Under 14’s taking to the field at 5:30pm. Please note the updated arrangements for players arriving and leaving training in the attached image. The MJFC has prepared Protocols for Return to Training document (see club website/TEAM APP) for all club members and registered players to provide information to all families in regards to a staged return to training for all our teams. You as a Par...ent/Guardian must read with your child/ren the document and comply with the relevant protocols to ensure we reduce risk and comply with all AFL Victoria Guidelines. 11.01.2022 First night back on Northern Reserve for our 14's last night thanks to those coaches and committee members for making it possible for our kids to get back on the field.

10.01.2022 Hoping everyone is keeping well while in isolation and that we are all missing our football. Gippsland Power Coach Rhett McLennon has created some training sessions for all CGJFL players to keep up their skills whilst in isolation. We will be posting links to the sessions on our facebook page and TEAM APP over the coming weeks.
