04.01.2022 We have been very grateful to be given an amazing supply of beautifully handmade reusable masks for the families we support. Tash, a local maker, was approache...d by Glen & Amanda from Hideaway Weddings in Beerwah (QLD!) who wanted to purchase some masks to help people in Gippsland. 04.01.2022 Hamper Registration We have been inundated with requests to register for a food hampers for Christmas. With the impact of Covid- 19 playing it in our community. We believe this will mean that demand for hampers from us will likely outstrip supply. So to keep it as fair as we possibly we will be implementing the following. ... Hamper Registration will open on Monday 16th November. Hamper Registration will close on Friday 4th December You will need to come into the House to register for a Hamper. We will NOT be taking names over the phone, via email or via the facebook page or messenger. There will be a mix of hampers available for families, couples, single. First on the list does not guarantee a Hamper. If we have more requests for hampers then we can supply. All names will go into a draw. If your name has been drawn out you will receive a call on Monday 14th December to arrange for hamper pick up. We will only call once, if you miss the call you will need to call us back before 3:00pm on Monday 14th December to confirm you still want the Hamper. If we do not hear back then we will draw out another name in your place. If we do not call you, that will mean your name was not drawn. Hamper pick up will be on Thursday 17th December opening at 9:30am and closing at 2:30pm. Any Hampers not picked up will be offered to others on the list who didn't make the first draw. We appreciate your understanding and your cooperation.

03.01.2022 Thought Id share this with you. During locksdown 1, I decided to capture our community and their messages. This work formed part of our community development response. It was #latrobefrontdoorstepproject Im conscious that is easy to focus on the stats of food delivered - that welfare response but we often over look the other important things we do that really are the backbone of the sector and the reason we have so much flexibility to respond reflect and be relevant to ...our community. #AssetBasedCommunityDevelopment These photos are now forming part of an exhibition that looks at the community response to the #coronacoaster This is our 2nd community photo exhibition that has made it to our regional gallery. We cant wait for the Gallery to open and we can get to this exhibition IRL. Keep on eye on Latrobe Regional Gallery face book page for opening dates.
