20.01.2022 Mosman Croquet Club has now received official approval from the Ministry of Sport to enable play to commence. The conditions imposed include social distancing and to ensure public health requirements are met. On this basis we are opening our lawns from tomorrow. Two people only per lawn, booking on line, two hour games, equipment to be sanitised as required, etc. We would like to give a huge thank you to Mary Gibson for all her effort in putting forward submissions and the like and to our Committee who have arranged for everything to be available so that we can start playing tomorrow.

17.01.2022 The Korean Gateball Team back in Australia to defend their title at Cairnlea next week visited the Mosman Croquet Club last Friday 22 November. We had a fantastic day with players from Strathfield, Epping and, of course, Mosman scrambling together two teams not to take on the Koreans but to learn tactics and playing skills. Mosman put on a special lunch of Korean and local food and were delighted that some of the team were into the Mosman spirit (ie wine and beer). The ...visitors generously put on a coaching session after lunch. During that time some of the team were lured onto Lawn 1 by Penny Paterson and Roseanne White to learn Golf Croquet. There was much laughter particularly as their roquets were so accurate. The afternoon ended with three cars of Korean team members and their luggage being deposited at Taronga Zoo Wharf to catch a ferry back to Circular Quay. See more

07.01.2022 A great State Div 3 Doubles tournament held over the last two days. Congratulations to Wendy Herbert and Malcolm Powhatan of Marrickville beating a Elizabeth Friend and a Barry Elliott 6-3. Welldone to everyone involved in the tournament, referees,timekeepers, Catherine g people and tournament committee without which we couldn’t have arranged such a great tournament. A big thanks to the weather for holding off also. Hope it continues for the State Div 3 Singles which starts tomorrow.

03.01.2022 The Croquet NSW Division 3 championships are taking place at Mosman Croquet Club on 15 - 19 July 2020. As this is one of the first tournaments to be held since the Covid 19 issues, we want to make this tournament a huge success. To do this we are asking all clubs to try and encourage both newer players to the sport of croquet and those who are more familiar with Division 3 tournaments, to enter.... 02.01.2022 Attention all Mosman Div 2 GC players - the Bronze brooch is taking place at Cheltenham from 10-12 August. More players are needed to make this a great competition. For more information and to register please go to CNSW website. Denise Howarth and myself are going along to hopefully improve our skills and get some competition practice prior to the pennants starting in September.

01.01.2022 Mosman Croquet Club’s Christmas party last Sunday. A great success with games, great food, music ..... and even some dancing. Congratulations to all the volunteers who make these events possible - they take a lot of arranging - well done. May everyone have a safe and happy Christmas.

01.01.2022 The Martyn Prins Trophy held today at Mosman. The winners Michael Chambers and Les Jackson beating Cali Craig and De Howarth in a hard fought final. Thanks to Ron and all those people invoked in getting this tournament up and running.
