14.01.2022 We got out of the house!!! Last week, after 15 weeks of self-isolation, we managed to escape and have a break. Danes parents, who live on Queenslands ...Sunshine Coast, have been COVID-safe and also got tested for COVID as a precaution prior to us coming to stay. While we remained very cautious during our little holiday, the change of scenery was just what the doctor ordered; especially for our boys. Despite being the middle of winter, we had some amazing weather which meant days spent at the beach, fishing, and exploring nearby national parks. Today I had the pleasure of delivering this young boy his brand new power wheelchair and watch him drive to his horse, and with a little help from mum, climb from his chair onto his horse. He will now be able to race his sister, walk his dog, Check the mailbox, bridle his horse, and give mum hugs and kisses- to name a few. ... A remarkable boy with the world at his wheels.
