20.01.2022 We currently have vacancies to train or purchase horses at Motu Racing. Based in Tasmania we have 2 meetings a week, which gives us a chance to be able to place your horse where it would have its best chance to win. We offer great training rates but can also take horses on deals. ... We have a great strike rate, with attention to detail we leave no stone unturned when training your horse. We run a small stable so each horse is catered to appropriately to ensure its success when racing with us. We have access to a 2000m sand and gravel track, A 800m track, Treadmill and pool. With our summer carnival beginning to get underway here there is also great opportunities for 80+ Raters to join our team to compete in all the big races down here. We have had success in many of the feature races down here so we know what is needed to win these feature races. As well as wanting horses to train we are also after horses to purchase for new and existing owners. With varied budgets we are willing to consider anything. We are mainly looking for horses that are 50 or better rating. No trotters. And horses must be up and racing. 17.01.2022 Bit late on the post, but Friday night Victoria Pass made it 5 WINS IN A ROW Another very tough win from the champ He is currently for sale for 10k, due to dissolving ownership as owners going seperate ways. ... In the last 7 days the team has had 3 winners and a second out of 6 starters We are always on the look out for new horses to join our team or even purchase for some of our current owners. 13.01.2022 Another great night for the team last night at Hobart, 3 starters for 2 wins and a 2nd! Victoria Pass made it 4 WINS IN A ROW!!! Live for Peace was in the same race and finished 2nd, making it a stable quinella! We are very happy with how both of these horses performed last night, Victoria Pass made his own luck again by making a mid race move to sit outside the leader to be too strong again in the finish. Live for peace appreciated the drop back in grade and was driven... for luck and was taking ground off Vic up the straight Arakbell completed the stables double in the last race She finally bought up her first win for her owners, also earning her tasbred bonus which made for a very nice pay day for our owners! Bell appreciated the small field and the solid tempo, she was able to sit last and get a good track into the race and sprint past them at the top of the straight Congratulations to our big group of owners in the steamed or fried syndicate on their 2 winners and a 2nd! A fantastic group of owners who deserve all the success come their way We also took Hesnoprince to trial before the races, he done everything right and won his trial. We look forward to seeing this horse progress even further going forward Our wins last night lifted our spirits after the sad news this week of the passing of our close family friend Joe.
