19.01.2022 Just a picture of a dog, with his best mate.

19.01.2022 So today marks the completion of Mount Dromedary Dorpers first year in the sheep showing world!! At Royal Hobart Show this week Dell Warrior backed up his Interbreed win at Longford Show last week and took out Champion Dorper Ram and then went onto win the Supreme Shedder Exhibit, judged from all the Champions of the Dorper and White Dorpers. Thank you to Essential Animals Supplies for your sponsorship of this award. Dell Dolly with her nine week old Dell Rhino ram lamb a...t foot took out Reserve Champion Dorper Ewe, following on from the same award at Longford Show the week prior. Dolly is doing a fabulous job with her lamb (currently 34kg) and holding her own condition. The lamb still needs a name but I cant think of a good one! One highlight for us was the second placing in the Ewe under 18 months class of Mount Dromedary Amelia. Amelia at just five months old competed well against some much older competition. We look forward to seeing how she develops. We love all our sheep and cant wait to see what the next twelve months brings.

17.01.2022 Deloraine Show 2019 We had an enjoyable day out at Tasmanias biggest (and very well organised) sheep show with over 200 sheep entered. Very proud of all our team and they went on to take out Champion Dorper Ram and Champion Dorper Ewe. Thank you to the Cressy School junior handlers who helped us out with handling our senior ewes with their lambs at foot.... With our first time entry in this class Mount Dromedary George placed third in the Bare Shorn Interbreed Ram Lamb class against some tough competition. So that is our final show for 2019. We look forward to a bit of a break and then resuming at Bushy Park Show next year. Special thank you to Andrea Vagg and Moozie Van Niekerk (Dell and Dumisa Studs) for all their help and advice this year. For running the Dorper Course that we attended earlier this year, invaluable to us. And for being so patient and forthcoming with information, photos, videos and guidance earlier this year when we were adding to our ewe band and for that special ram to move our stud forward.

17.01.2022 For a bit of fun participated in the Grand Parade with fellow dorper breeder Janet Ainscow, Chatswood Downs
