25.01.2022 Adeline delivered QUADS to our surprise. 3 Boys and 1 Girl. She made it look so easy. She has had triplets for the last 2 years. She is a great Mum!!!! She will deserve a well earned rest after this. BTW, she delivered them unassisted.

25.01.2022 Got home yesterday to find this one stuck - head and one leg out, but one leg stuck back behind the pelvis with his foot pointing down. I couldn't push him back in as the sac was already broken. NO time for gloves as this little fella was not breathing and was purple in the mouth. After some effort, he was pulled out, lungs drained and revived. I can't believe how co-operative the Ewe was esp. with this being her first lamb, she just layed there as i coundn't get the lamb out with her standing. Happily standing and drinking within an hour. We named him: LUCKY You can see in the pic the puffy eye from being stuck

22.01.2022 Clara has suprised us with triplets this morning, this is her first successful pregnancy. 2 healthy girls and a little boy!

21.01.2022 All healthy and standing.

21.01.2022 Turn the sound ON - Lambs from last season!!!

20.01.2022 Good morning - a lovely sunny day!

20.01.2022 First time in the yards for vaccination and tail ringing.

18.01.2022 Meet Splish n Splash, just taking a nap, mum safely helped deliver one of these little fellas who was stuck!

17.01.2022 Beautiful evening at Mountain View Rise

16.01.2022 Little Lemington, LIVING LIFE UP - in the house!! Spoilt little baby

16.01.2022 In the last 24 hours we have had 70 mm of rain These poor baby lambs were all shivering and cold, some not even able to walk, so they were all picked up, towel dried off by mum and my sister They are now warming up in the old tin hay shed in the maternity yard. How cute are they all together! Their mothers are all nearby keeping an eye on them. Everything is soaking and slop here whenever we get an eastern front we get good rainfall, but its bad timing for the lambs. These are just some of the lambs!

15.01.2022 Adealine, even though she didn't hve Quads seems to have 4 lambs, quite happily minding her full sisters 2 lambs.

14.01.2022 Beautiful Sunset after another busy day!

13.01.2022 Our Babydoll lambs usually weigh between 3.5 - 4.8kgs when born! This little one is the smallest lamb we have ever had, weighing just 2.4kgs at approx. 12hrs old. She is so small, but healthy, cant wait to see what she grows into.

13.01.2022 **Quad mum (Adeline)** - letting me have cuddles with her lambs, quite an armful. They are all wearing special breakaway collars so we can identify each lamb to ensure that they all grow at the same rate.

12.01.2022 This is my favorite EWE (Muffin) - with her new lamb (Miffy) We let the ewes in the only paddock that has any grass after they have lambed (for just a few hours - otherwise they loose their lambs).

12.01.2022 First babydoll lambs for this season. So far 2 sets off Twins.

12.01.2022 Grass is always greener onthe other side of the fence!!!

12.01.2022 Mr. LUCKY - couldn't handle the cold on his own today after 2 days of 20 degrees, then a sudden temp. drop in half an hour so inside for a warmup and also time for a blanket on. Checkout his dark legs, not sure who this dark coloring comes from.

12.01.2022 A much thinner looking Adealine, she picked exactly the same spot to lamb as last year! She is doing great and is a very protective and caring ewe. She did have triplets, 2 ewe lambs and 1 ram lamb, but only 2 were born alive. One of the ewe lambs was very very small and had stopped developing some time ago.

11.01.2022 Lambing for 2019 has started and this ewe is due soon. If she doesn't hurry up and have those lambs she is going to POP!!! BTW its all lamb belly shes not fat! *** Will DEFINITELY be triplets ***

07.01.2022 Finally some warmer weather and no rain!

03.01.2022 We have had our feed, now rest time. And we have been colour coded so that we can be observed to make sure that we all get equal feeds.

03.01.2022 Last lamb for 2018 season This ewes first lamb also, she went into labour and this lamb got stuck - both legs stuck behind and back in the pelvis only a little head poking out. This lamb was fully unconscious and not breathing at all. After some effort, and dislocating one shoulder and pulling the leg though, then sliding the other leg fully backward, "Sunny" was rather abruptly pulled into the world. Resuscitated and in a few minutes had color and began breathing. He appears to be fine at present and is happily standing and drinking.

02.01.2022 Murphy has great balance! Mums just make the best sleeping spot!

02.01.2022 Great odds this year, more twins this morning, UGLY LITTLE WET THINGS WHEN THEY COME OUT, BUT GEORGEOUS WHEN THEY FLUFF UP.

01.01.2022 Adeline feeding her quads, they are lining up in a row, waiting their turn?

01.01.2022 Some of the cuties it was time for vaccinations
