25.01.2022 Who knew you could do this with Google Earth? Fabulous work by Craig Marshall.

15.01.2022 Just returned from the Southern Highlands and the 12th Australian Narrow Gauge Convention. It's a small affair by comparison with the US NG Convention, but a smaller, more intimate affair doesn't mean it was any less interesting. I always enjoy myself, because it is a chance to meet up with my model railroad friends. It is the friends you make in this hobby that make it all worthwhile. Now it's a two-year wait for the next one.

14.01.2022 Finally, at last, after many changes, tweaks and fine-tuning (and it still isn't perfect!) the new website is live, on-air and functioning. You can have a look at http://mountainblueminiatures.com.au where you will find links to other pages. There is also a quick link to a New Products page and a Featured Products page where specials for the month are 20% off. There will always be some items available at a discounted price, so a visit to this page each month might result ...in a bargain price on a wanted item. For now, just have a look around, let me know what you think (for better or for worse). http://mountainblueminiatures.com.au See more

12.01.2022 Just received the latest package of my hand painted figures from a new expert painter who is located in Sri Lanka. The quality of painting is outstanding. I will post some photos in the next few days.

11.01.2022 I have just received the final (almost!!) construct of the new web site from the developers. It's not loaded onto my host server as yet - still on the developer's server, so you can't yet see it. I am, however, very happy with what I have seen so far. The team in New Delhi, yes in New Delhi, have done a great job for an outstanding price. I am a happy camper/modeller/web site owner. I will update, as soon as it can go live.

10.01.2022 I am attending the 13th Australian Narrow Gauge Railroad Convention in Geelong, Victoria this Easter weekend. There are some fabulous models on display, including this fine structure. It won the Best in Show and the Geoff Nott Memorial Award. A great achievement for modeller Richard Grinyer.

05.01.2022 I put together a new landing page for the new web site today. I figured when surfing you need to land on a friendly page, rather than just products. It should be good when it is finally finished.

04.01.2022 I have been photographing Dieter Chidel's fabulous HOn3 Chili Line layout. His attention to detail is outstanding. The full story should be in magazines about January 2016. Check The Gazette and NGDU magazines about then. I'll update when publication is firm.

04.01.2022 Australia Post has stopped Economy International Mail Services - the airplanes just are not flying. With just one service per week, only International Priority Mail is getting through. The rest will sit at the International Mail exchange until regular air services resume, and who knows when that might happen. That means that if you order any of my products and want them any time soon, the mail cost could be twice or three times the cost of the actual product. It just woul...d not be worthwhile. With sales having dropped to nil, zilch, naddah, nut'n in the last five weeks, it looks like I will have plenty of time to refresh stock, develop new products and work on new concepts for future modelling items. I will put out a general advice when the shipping situation changes. In the meantime, stay safe (aren't you sick of hearing that - I am) keep modelling and we will catch up some time in the future. Happy modelling, Keith.

02.01.2022 Do you like to scratch build rolling stock? I do, and that's why I manufacture rolling stock car frames in pewter. They give me a 2oz frame on which to build a flat car, a box car, or just about any other narrow gauge car in O scale. For the month of September all car frames (that's a 15 ft car frame, an 18 ft frame and a Climax logging car frame) are all 25% off. That's a huge saving over normal price. So if you have ever wanted to try your hand at building you own rollin...g stock, now is the time to have a go. Go to http://mountainblueminiatures.com.au/home then scroll down to "Featured Products 25% off" and add one to you shopping cart. There's nothing like the satisfaction of seeing your own scratch-built car rolling down the line. At 25% off, why wait?

02.01.2022 Here's the latest issue of NG&SLGazette (May/June) with my photo of Dieter Chidel's fabulous Chili Line layout on the cover. Dieter is a master modeller - he loves "detail" and his article is well worth a read.
