25.01.2022 YOUTH MONTH 2021 This month we are celebrating the youth in our community. During April the City of Mount Gambier is celebrating our local youth (that’s YOU!) by giving you and your friends an opportunity to come together for some fun, meet new people and learn new skills. Take a look at the program and come along to one or more of these fantastic activities.

18.01.2022 Are you interested in developng video games? Are you a musician, fancy yourself an artist, weaver of stories, or interested in tech? Make Games Now is a free 4 week online program bringing together aspiring video game developers, aged 18-26 from regional South Australia to make their first games! An interest in games is needed but no experience is necessary, we’ll be starting from the very start. The program will introduce aspiring game developers to each-other, and to tool...s, ideas and examples that can kickstart their own game development journey. 14.01.2022 South Australia’s Commissioner for Children and Young People, Helen Connolly recently launched HUB A SPACE FOR YOUNG SOUTH AUSTRALIANS A place to visit, hang out, keep up to date, have your say and connect. At hub, young people can respond to a weekly big question, take part in a poll, or be inspired by a young rights champion. They can sign up to become a youth rep and join a conversation between a team of young people connecting from cities, towns and regional hubs in eve...ry corner of South Australia. https://hub.ccyp.com.au/

14.01.2022 MONO CLUB is a free workshop series for regional South Australian actors and writers aged 15-18 to sink their teeth into theatre and writing conversations with like-minded peers. Mono Club will be delivered fully online enabling young actors and writers from anywhere in regional South Australia to participate. Weekly workshops will occur at 6pm on Mondays (commencing 3 August) and occur over Zoom, requiring a computer and internet access....
