12.01.2022 We are in need of a marshal for this Saturday. There are, in fact, lots of positions on the future roster that require attention. Please take the time to check it out and see where you may be able to help.

06.01.2022 A perfect morning for Parkrun this morning with a, we believe, record number of 147 runners enjoying the sunshine. Well done everyone and thank you to the volunteers who made it possible; Renee Ackerley (Timekeeper), Karli Earle (Photographer), Marian Hodson (Barcode Scanner), Hon Horton (Marshal), John Martin-Brown (Run Director), Leeanne Martin-Brown (Barcode Scanner), Nicolae Sawyer (Tail Walker) and Lynn Sparks (Finish Tokens),

06.01.2022 Your last parkrun for the year was a great one. What a lovely day. Is it sexist of me to note that the first two across the line today were female. Apologies to Belinda who flashed past before the camera caught her. Congratulations Jess on your 50th run, Inge your 100th and Stuart 150. Thank you again to our brilliant volunteers, Alexa, Karli, Terri, Jim, Martin, Graeme and Phil.

05.01.2022 When attending parkrun events as they restart across South Australia, you'll be asked to check in using that event's COVID-SAFE QR Code by scanning it with your phone. We will have our codes available in multiple locations on Saturday morning for you to use. Alternatively, you can scan the code found on our Facebook page from a computer screen before leaving home, or a family member's phone as you arrive. If you need assistance with checking in, please speak to one of our friendly volunteers on the day and they'll help you out.

04.01.2022 We are excited to confirm that parkrun events in Tasmania will reopen on 17 October. For a complete update on the status of each state and territory within Australia click here http://parkrun.me/gvsqf #loveparkrun

01.01.2022 While the return of parkrun has been delayed, there's been some positive progress, with the single direction restriction being removed around the majority of the Blue Lake footpath. This change means that the parkrun course is fully operational again and will be ready to go once South Australia is ready to kick off. Have you been to test it out since the change was made this week?
