17.01.2022 TO ALL THOSE YEARNING TO SAY 'I DO'.... "Planning a wedding through covid-19, was admittedly quite stressful. We couldn’t predict the new restrictions or when they would come into place. But what was predictable was that Mt Lofty House, care of Michelle Buckley, always had a solution to any problem. ... Whether it was the closing of the dance floor, social distancing, hygiene measures or having to be seated during our planned canape hour. As I bride I want to assure other brides don’t put off your magical day. Because in my opinion, my wedding was the most beautiful and classy wedding I have ever been to ;) .But I am a bit biased, so from a more balanced perspective the room was absolutely magical, the view breathtaking, due to rain we had an inside ceremony and it was wonderful, the food was amazing and guests were raving about it. Drinks were great and we weren’t left wanting for anything. Being able to stay the night at Mt Lofty House was so special all our cards were delivered up to our room and we spent the morning eating our delicious breakfast and reading our cards from our friends and family. When you invest in Mt Lofty House you absolutely get what you pay for. I couldn’t have been happier with our day and guests even commented they barely noticed the restrictions were in place. A 20 year old Shiraz that needs no introduction. Quintessential Barossa, it is simply gorgeous, silky and super aromatic. We think dad will love this with our Wagyu brisket or lamb three ways. You might be able to imagine how much this means to our team, particularly the staff at @hardysverandah and @arthurwaterhouselounge and the whole Adelaide Hills community. Many businesses and families have been hit hard by the necessary measures taken. We all cannot wait to open up again and welcome you as soon as possible. Besides all the worry and pain this time has brought us, we think it has also shown how important it is to breathe, think, and shop local.
