23.01.2022 All objects will fall if let go, or in other words, what goes up must come down. That is the simplest way to describe gravity. It is a force that pulls things to the center of the earth, or in even simpler terms - to the ground. The easiest and the most enjoyable form of exploring that process for kids is a ball/marble run. Not only they learn patience and cooperation while building them, but they’re also able to explore the cause and effect watching the ball go down. One... million times. In addition to creatively exploring the different arrangements of the pieces of the run, your child will be able to develop basic engineering skills as they explore how to put it together. They will learn more about cause and effect, explore how to keep their piece balanced, and learn how to improve their structures so that the marble will successfully reach the end of track. Not only that, they'll enhance their understanding of how gravity and inertia work together to help move or stop the marble--and they'll have a blast doing it. Marble runs offer an excellent opportunity for children both young and old to improve their hand-eye coordination. They'll demonstrate a solid use of fine motor skills as they put together the marble runs, place the marbles on it, and scoop them up again at the end. Even better, it's not repetitive practice. It's just a kid at play! [1] Our ramps are perfect to set up a canvas on a perfect angle depending what incline level you need. You can use magnetic tiles, blocks, rods, straws just to name a few. : @life.with.moon.and.co source: [1] kindsinc.com.au See more

16.01.2022 She believed she could, so she did. R.S. GREY Confidence is vitally important to a child’s future happiness, health, and success. Confident children are better equipped to deal with peer pressure, responsibility, frustrations, challenges, and both positive and negative emotions. Kids of all ages learn through play and interactions with others. As a parent, you are often your child’s first playmate, which means you are also the first person to help them develop a ...strong sense of self. 10.01.2022 Patterns are easy to find in our daily lives and you can use those that you come across as a teaching tool at any time. They can be found everywhere, but your child may need your help identifying them as such. This is a great activity Lisa created with Benji using paper rolls, some sticky tape and dot stickers. But you can use pretty much anything you come across in a daily life as a teaching tool at any time. At the park, lay out a rock, a pine cone, and a twig, and ask your... child to continue the pattern, at home use buttons, blocks, coins, marbles, toy cars or candies to help your child understand how patterns work. . , was ' . , , . ’ , , -, , . 08.01.2022 Everyday is a Mother’s Day. To all the mums, to-be mums and should-be mums... Happy Monday, because this is your day too. A Mum is something you are, not something you do. The world could benefit if we learnt to celebrate it more often than just once a year. A child’s early relationshipsattachment bonds with their caregivers act as blueprints guiding the development of the friendships and relationships they will form with others throughout their life. These blueprints, kn...own as internal working models, influence a person’s expectations about how others will act in relationships, such as whether others will be loving and emotionally available, or not. In turn, these expectations are likely to influence the type of people one will connect with, and the quality of relationships a person is likely to develop with others. For example, children who have received consistent love, warmth, emotional availability, and sensitivity from their caregivers, are likely to go out into the world expecting others to beand seeking others who areconsistently loving, warm, emotional available, and sensitive; whereas, children who have received inconsistent love or rejection, a lack of emotional availability, and insensitive care from their caregivers, are more likely to go out into the world expecting others to be that way, too. Research shows, for example, that children with secure attachments to their caregivers, are more likely to develop supportive and harmonious relationships with their peers and friends in childhood, secure relationships with peers in adolescence, and supportive, positive relationships with romantic partners in adulthood. When it comes to love and loving, it really is a case of the more, the better. In the words of Fred Rogers, Deep within usno matter who we arethere lives a feeling of wanting to be lovable, of wanting to be the kind of person that others like to be with. And the greatest thing we can do is to let people know that they are loved and capable of loving." 07.01.2022 Waste is everywhere in our society. The more waste we produce, the more of the earth’s resources are depleted and the environment polluted. Our balance beams are designed to be used also on the ground and to increase stability and load capacity they are intended to work with attached hardwood rungs. Because #zerowaste philosophy that encourages the redesign of resource life cycles (so that all products are reused) is very close to our hearts, we designed our balance bea...ms to utilize parts otherwise considered waste. Those rungs are made from dowels that had flaws or little cracks, that didn’t meet our high standards as structural rungs on our frames. However they perform their function to protect the clips and stabilize the beam the same way as the perfectly looking ones. We kindly ask you to join our movement and embrace their imperfections thinking about the future of our planet. : @life.with.moon.and.co See more

06.01.2022 We have an exciting news about our ramps - they are getting an upgrade! We believe that no matter how good the design is, there is always room for improvement. Our goal has always been to have them as secure on the rungs as possible (and they were within the technology we were using so far) but that doesn't mean they cannot be improved :) We received a lot of messages saying how secure they feel compared to other brands, but... ! we managed to make it even better! Our websit...e is being slowly updated (hurry up mr Mounty!), so stay tuned for more exiting news :) All orders placed from today will include the redesigned ramps :) : 1 @little.wrens : 2 @life.with.moon.and.co : 3&4 @our.small.adventures See more
