24.01.2022 MEET THE FILMMAKERS! Isolation is a feature-length documentary that will play in cinemas around the world. Following its cinema release, it will also play on social platforms for everyone to see. Every person whose footage appears in the documentary will be credited as a cinematographer at the end of the film.... The film is being put together by professional filmmakers and producers whose films you will have most likely watched on the big screen. Kris Rowe, Director Kris has worked on some seriously big films such as Moulin Rouge, Superman Returns & Peter Pan as an award-winning editor. More recently she has found herself gravitating toward social justice documentary and emotional storytelling. A great example of this is the documentary 'Losing Lena’. Which tells the story of Tech's Original Sin, and the effect this has had on gender equality in the world of tech. As a director she is continually honing her skills as a keen observer of character and is always looking for a story that needs to be told. Michelle Parker, Producer Michelle’s passion is collaborating with storytellers from concept to completion to create and produce extraordinary and engaging content, across all platforms. She has worked in the industry for more than 25 years and produced for some of Australia’s best Directors, including Warwick Thornton, Brendan Fletcher, Rocky Morton, Jane Manning, Ben Lawrence and Bill Bennett. Michelle produced a series of short films for Tourism Australia’s Indigenous Unit ‘Our Country is waiting for You’ with Directors, Warwick Thornton and Brendan Fletcher. It was this experience that led Michelle and Warwick to collaborate on 'The Beach’, a documentary about Warwick Thornton’s own isolation experience, which will be broadcast in 2020. Michelle has also produced more than 300 television commercials and campaigns for local and international clients.
