24.01.2022 SENIOR & JUNIOR CRICKET RESULTS Congratulations to everyone who got out on the park yesterday! Below is a list of the results in both the Juniors and the Seniors.. Seniors saw a swashbuckling result from the D Grade boys with the bat with Geoff Wood hitting 72 while Ed Uniacke hit his highest score with a well compiled 50 in a chase of 199 that saw them win with 6 wickets in hand. Meanwhile B Grade skipper Paul McDonald lead the way with the bat with 35, while Josh Prest...on and Brad Boyle combined for 6 wickets against Pine Lodge in a tight affair on the Main Oval, while E Grade also went down to the wire, thanks to Lauren Hall's efforts with the Bat (22) and with the ball (2/15). C Grade had it a bit more comfortable with Damon Zampaglione having a whirlwind knock of 46 while taking 2 wickets and affecting a runout as well. In the Junior setup, the Under 16 found the runs they required to knock of Euroa, while Under 14As defeated the same opposition by putting the screws on nice and tightly, with the Emanuelli boys particularly miserly and effective taking 3 wickets. The 14Bs had a great result as well on the back of Ebony Sleeth and N Williams. While the youngest cats had a great time out on the park and it has been fantastic to see them out and about throughout the week. #mcc2021

18.01.2022 COVID-19 MATCH DAY INFORMATION Are Clubrooms Available? Change rooms can be opened on match days, however clubs are asked to follow the density quotient rules (1 person for every 4m2 ) as per State Government requirements, which might mean the changerooms are not big enough for the team to fit inside. Any areas of the facility that may be touched (toilets, door handles etc) need to have been cleaned before attendees arrive and cleaned again after use by each group.... Will players need to wear masks at matches? It is optional for players to wear a mask whilst actively batting, bowling or fielding. All players aged over 12 must wear a mask at all other times though including on arrival, pre-match, post-match, lunch / tea breaks, while waiting to bat, scoring and spectating etc. On game day does the home club have to collect the details of the away team for contact tracing purposes? Yes, all players, scorers, umpires, volunteers and spectators must ‘check-in’ and ‘check-out’ via the home club contact tracing QR code (or manual system) for contact tracing purposes. When will sanitising take place during matches and who will need to partake? All attendees shall sanitise their hands upon arrival at the ground. All players, umpires and officials (including scorers, coaches etc.) shall also sanitise their hands every 10 overs. What is used to sanitise the ball, hands or equipment? The ball shall be cleaned with minimum 70%-alcohol (ethanol or isopropyl alcohol (IPA) based antibacterial wipe or spray every 10 overs.
