25.01.2022 Did you know about our pro bono program? As a signatory to the National Pro Bono Target, we provide expert pro bono services. We go over and above, with a track record of providing several hundred pro bono hours each year. In a recent case study, we assisted Ngutu College in South Australia to negotiate and execute a commercial lease. The Chairperson of Ngutu College, Catherine Baldwin, explained:... Michael Pagsanjan assisted us with expert advice in the negotiation and execution of a commercial lease. Michael worked alongside us during the negotiations to ensure that we achieved a positive outcome. Importantly, we were able to develop a constructive working relationship with the other party which was a high priority for our ongoing interactions. This type of mediated negotiation, and proactive attitude to resolving issues, was highly effective and was appreciated by everyone involved. We have also recently assisted Magabala Books in Western Australia with a review of governance rules. We have developed an easy-to-use online form to help clients request our services. https://www.mpslaw.com.au/probono

19.01.2022 A lovely end of week surprise https://www.mpslaw.com.au//principal-awarded-as-finalist-i Michael says, I am humbled and honoured to be recognised by peers in these prestigious awards. Significant credit goes to the hard working team at MPS Law. I am very proud of the team’s achievements in helping our clients get to where they want to go. I am also continually inspired by the unwavering passion of our clients, who are predominantly under-resourced and over-stretched native title claim groups and corporations. In addition, I am forever thankful for my family, whose love and support is integral to the success of MPS Law, particularly when challenges arise. I congratulate the finalists in the awards and feel very privileged to be considered in the same standing as these exceptional leaders.

With a possible expansion of Prominent Hill's operations and a newly launched strategic plan for the Aboriginal corporation, it was a timely check-in. Our thanks to both Antakirinja Matu-Yankunytjatjara and OZ Minerals for hosting us.

09.01.2022 Lost bags, poor weather and engine troubles meant for an interesting end to the week in the Torres Strait.
