English Speaking Club will resume online from Week 2, everyone is welcomed to join our sessions starting 4 Aug are scheduled on Tuesday 1pm - 2pm and Thursday 12pm - 1pm. You don't need to prepare anything beforehand, bring a friend or two along to join our fun sessions filled with games, memes, guest speakers and moreover lots of fun and interesting discussions. ... However, as we have mentioned, networking experience will be highly beneficial to your personal and professional development and these opportunities should be taken while you are still in university to prepare you for the future. Which brings me to...... WEB Alumni Night!! WEB's highly anticipated flagship event focused on breaking down caree...r barriers and supporting gender inclusivity. This year, the theme we have chosen for Alumni Night is ‘The New Normal’, given the unprecedented changes society has undergone this past year. The evening will feature two panel discussions with senior professionals, who will address challenges junior professionals currently face within their respective industry and what actions we can all take to create positive changes. Following the panel, we invite attending students, alumni and sponsors to continue discussions within breakout rooms. To drive change, we invite students of any gender and degree, male champions of change and all WEB alumni to attend. Be excited you never know who you will meet! If you're nervous about networking for the first time, that's competely fine :) Just shoot us a text and we can work on it in the next ESC session. Hope you guys can make it and have a great day :)
