25.01.2022 Gym clothes with bad body odour. do you get the problem where you excessively sweat in the gym especially in the summer period and your clothes build up bad odour no matter how many times you wash them?? well best way we found to avoid throwing out your gym clothes and removing the odour is this.... 1. when you get home always hang your shirt or pants outside in the fresh air so it can dry off, dont just throw it in laundry basket as this will cause the bacteria and germs to keep growing in your clothes. 2. once all dry place your gym clothes in your washing machine, add 2 cups of vinegar or bi carb soda (found vinegar is much cheaper and works better). if your going to hand wash then just place in a basin instead. 3. hit start on washing machine so it fills up with water and then turn it off once water has filled up and turn it off before it starts its cycle. leave overnight to soak. 4. wake up in the morning, add laundry liquid and start a cycle of washing. once finished hang to dry. next time you go gym and you are sweating excessively you wont smell any more bad odour in your clothing. The best thing to do is wear different gym clothing each time and let it accumulate till end of week so you can just do 1 load of this type washing instead of multiple loads. save you time and of course money. you can do this with your general load of wash too. :)

24.01.2022 Hamstrings tip I'm always shocked when I see how weak most people are on hamstrings machines. As I pointed out in my leg extension post earlier this week, most ...people simply can't contract. I see lots of power, then the stack comes crashing down before they attempt the next rep. Lifting like this all the time, often leaves a lot of people with pain behind their knee. I'm sure many of you have experienced this. You must train a muscle through its full range. This means incorporating deep contractions at the insertion part of the muscles (top). If you're someone who throws the load up explosively and you're not growing, try lowering the load and focus on the contraction part. When I start working with someone the first thing I always assess is single leg variations. I get my clients to do 6 reps with their toes pointed in, the same neutral and then with their toes pointed out. By doing this I can see which of their hamstring muscles are weak on each leg. What surprises most people is the strength imbalance they have between their left and right leg. Because they've always trained with both legs, they've never even thought about it. Identifying imbalances calls for a phase of single leg training, focussing on the hamstring muscles that are weakest. One way I like to incorporate specific muscles during a set, is by doing 3 - 4 reps toes in, then toes out and then neutral. You will recruit all of your hamstrings, but more recruitment will either be placed medially, centrally or laterally. The next time you're due to train your legs, try these variations and identify your imbalances. This goes for females as well as males.

22.01.2022 My fat burning secrets. People always ask whats the secret or what shortcuts or supplements is their to take to burn off the fat quick and easy. In short their really is no secrets, its all in front of us to take on board. 1. diet. You eat crap you look crap. That's the simplest way to put it. Clean your diet and opt for healthier alternatives, example instead of battered or fried chicken/fish opt for grilled. simple changes like this can make a hell of a difference. Don't r...ely on meal replacements or protein powders but instead get whole foods in you, not only are they more sustainable and healthy for you but also much more satisfying and keep you full for longer. Much better choice if your putting yourself in a calorie deficit. The only time you should really need a meal replacement is if you really need to get something in you and have no time to get a solid meal in. Their should always be time though, if their is time for TV, time to check your social media updates and other things that steer us from life in general then all it takes is an hour to prep enough food for 1-3 days. 2. Cardio. its as simple as waking up 25min earlier every second day and going for a street walk, no reason to bump it up until its necessary. if you need to increase simply add 5min to each session before introducing an extra day. make gradual and small changes is best way.if morning empty stomach cardio doesn't work then straight after your weight training will be sufficient. 3.Supplements. I know I do sell supplements but one thing in 6 years i been in the industry i have always preached not to get too caught up with them nor to rely on them and i never forced or shoved supplements down people throats but instead educate them before adding supplements. after all they are suppplements, to fill in the gaps on anything you might be missing through nutrition. 2 supplements I do however use staple all year round whether cutting or adding lean mass is carnitine and caffeine. These 2 supplements before your cardio or workout can go a long way when it comes to dropping body fat. a dose of 5g for carnitine and caffeine at 100-300mg (find the dose specific for you) works brilliant. 4. Hydration. Water by far one of the most important thing that gets overlooked nowadays. your body is made up of almost 60% water and benefits in keeping the body balanced so be sure to keep fluid intake high all throughout the day. Dont rely on rubbish fluids such as soda, energy drinks but instead rely on natures best. :)

20.01.2022 The BCAA misconception. Lately I have been asked numerous times why we dont stock BCAA in different ratios other than 2:1:1. Simple. 2:1:1 ratio is the most proven and effective combination to work synergistically. For decades multiple studies still suggesting this.... Don't be fooled into higher ratios when instead it is only benefiting the supplement company as Leucine is the cheapest ingredient, so by increasing the Leucine in the ratio in turn is higher profit margins and a loss for the customer. Not proven to improve gains at all. In short just another nice way to scam the consumer from their hard earned money. Looks like the market is getting greedier by the day and finding other ways to manipulate the consumer into a more unique product.

14.01.2022 Place a thermometer under your arm for 10 minutes before getting out bed in the morning, a normal temperature must read between 97.8 and 98.2 degrees Fahrenheit... reading below 97.8 may indicate hypothyroid activity (low thyroid) and reading above may indicate hyperthyroid activity (excessive thyroid). Some factors which cause thyroid problems and decrease the rate at which the body burns calories, including malnourishment of the thyroid through vitamin and minerals deficiencies, thyroid and or pituitary exhaustion as result of overstimulation of caffeine, sugar and other stimulants and the presence of substances that inhibit thyroid function such as alcohol. 12.01.2022 CAFFEINE ANHYDROUS WARNING!!! Lately I have had customers contacting me and asking me what does 100-200mg of caffeine anhydrous look like on a teaspoon. First and foremost, I never reccomend or suggest using teaspoons or any manual measuring device for aminos acid. Not only are you wasting money by overdosing the product but you are risking by ingesting more than you should which in turn can be very harmful and in some cases can cause life threatening problems. Specifically c...affeine which can dramatically increase your heart rate and blood pressure if overdosed. As you can see in the photo that is 200mg of caffeine. That is a pretty high dose to begin with so please be aware before attempting to measure out with teaspoons or not so accurate devices such as measuring scoops. 09.01.2022 Today we embark on one of our greatest achievement we have accomplished in the 6 years of conducting business. We have hit 10,000 positive feedback on Ebay with no negative nor neutral feedback and one of longest running Ebay supplement store . No doubt it has been a challenge of hurdles for me and my wife as we have run everything on our own and built what we have today. One main reason i think we succeeded is because we chose not to spoon feed or shove supplements down peo...ples throat but instead educate people that nutrition, lifestyle and training should always be put in place first and use supplements for that exact reason, to supplement and fill in the gaps when needed. 08.01.2022 It has been brought to my attention that so far 4 guys at the gym i train at have ended up in hospital after consuming the preworkout "Rhino". a further 2 guys ...have almost had same symptons but recovered without going hospital. symptons were those of a very big hit of stimulant causing big heart pulpations and very bad electrolyte imbalance. Please guys, be careful what you are consuming and be aware of the dosing instructions on how to take the product, more is not always better. more importantly with a little education you will understand that alot of these american proprietary blends are not regulated and could have something hidden in the product that is not labelled, whether it be a stimulant (cocaine and ephedra very common) or pro hormones. it is also happening with fat burners with many hospitalised cases and even death. Big companies dont care about your health but instead care about profit margins. Be wise and make your own evaluation before consuming these products instead of having them forced down your throat. :)

03.01.2022 Thought it is time I brought up this image once again. For years now their has been a tonne of "moronology" surrounding protein powder. I get asked numerous questions about protein powder on a regular basis so thought I would put these questions here and the answers I have provided. Where does protein powder come from? As shown in the image, from cows milk which cheese is made and leftover is whey, the whey is protein powder. simple as that. If you remember this nursery rhyme... then you would know how far back protein powder goes: Little Miss Muffet Sat on a tuffet Eating her curds and whey Is protein powder a form of steroids and will it make me look like a bodybuilder? Again, think of protein powder as milk with the fat and carbohydrate content removed. Nothing anabolic or androgenic about protein powder. Simply a very beneficial source of protein and its fast absorption benefits. My doctor or any medical specialist told me protein powder is very bad for you and should be avoided at all costs. Sorry but I would avoid the doctor or specialist at all cost, not the protein. Obviously no hint of education in nutrition and the benefits of protein powder. doctor might as well tell you not to drink milk or use any form of milk powders or formulas for babies. Infact in alot of european countries they have opted for protein powder instead of baby formula for infants simply cause of the cost but also baby formulas being tampered and too many recalls. Not to mention the benefit of high protein availability, which in turn helps with baby development. It always rolls back to, protein powder is just whey, nothing added or removed. simply powdered milk minus the fat and carb content. Should i substitute solid meals with protein powder? Even though protein powder is a very good source of protein and probably one of the best you still would be sourcing protein from things like beef, chicken, fish, eggs and even beans, each protein source has its own added nutrition so you get a variety by eating variety. The point of the protein powder is to "supplement", more so if you miss a meal and need to get your protein in or post workout when your body is in demand for fast absorbing nutrients. That pretty sums up some of the common questions but would indirectly answer similar questions too. Dont always fall into assuming just because protein powder is widely used in fitness industry then it only benefits fitness enthusiasts, always remember that protein powder derives from natures best so it should not be getting a bad wrap.
