The upholstered seat has a multi-layered system of construction, including a cross webbed seat, followed by three layers of premium quality foam. 18.01.2022 We introduced the Um chair to our collection in 2017. Inspired by mid-century style we designed this piece to show the beauty of all material elements equally. Marrying both the timber and upholstery in a way where you couldnt imagine one without the other. From every angle there is a detail to be appreciated...from the intricate angled side joinery of the timber to the subtle button tufting on the upholstery. 12.01.2022 Its a Tuesday evening the home of Mr and Mrs White. The family of five are sitting at the table eating dinner and discussing their day. Selah, the eldest of 3 daughters, pipes up and asks if all the furniture in the home is made by us? Her father looks around and says Yes, pretty much - except for the lounge. This didnt seem acceptable to the inquisitive young child and so a challenge was set and the question was asked...why have we not designed and made our own lounge? It only seems fitting that we give it a go. And so here we are, over a year later, after many months of designing and prototyping, we are so pleased to introduce the Barrel Lounge! A lounge that is not just there to be sat in but to put a smile on your face when you walk in the room. A piece that is timeless and crafted for longevity with the intent that it can be enjoyed for many years to come

12.01.2022 Thank you SO much to everyone who bought a ticket to raise funds for families who have lost their homes on the NSW South Coast. Together we raised close to 10k and we are so grateful for all your support in helping us help this community that have gone through so much in the last few months. We will be sending this money directly to the Olive Tree not for profit community group straight away so they can help their community start the long journey of rebuilding as well as offering trauma related counselling which is so important. It is now time to draw the raffle and announce the winner of our soon to be released Barrel lounge Tune in at 4pm today on our live stories for the big reveal. Good luck!

11.01.2022 Fun fact for you... Mr. White completed his apprenticeship and training as a shipwright. During this season he realised his love for working with timber and the finer attention to detail that boat work required. Eventually he started applying these techniques to furniture making, crafting pieces for the home in his spare time. He finished his apprenticeship and then went on to work as a cabinet maker, gaining valuable skills and knowledge in the industry. And here we are over 10 years later. Business is always challenging but it can be fun if you love what you do and keep working on your craft.

04.01.2022 When designing the Barrel Lounge we wanted to create a unique design without compromising on comfort. Lets face it - we spend a substantial amount of time sitting on our sofas - our investment should not overlook the importance of comfort and quality. Our Barrel Lounge is crafted for longevity with a 30mm thick solid timber curved frame. If you were to cut the lounge down the middle you would see a multi-layered system of construction, including a cross-webbed seat, followed by 3 layers of premium quality foam and then upholstered in your selection of luxurious fabrics or leather. All of this is done right here in Sydney Australia

04.01.2022 Lost in a dream Did you know the most durable and long lasting lounges are made from a timber frame? Our Barrel Lounge has just that - with a 30 mm thick continuous grain curved external frame. But the inside of the lounge is just as important, both for comfort and longevity. The barrel lounge has an internal timber frame with a multi-layered system of construction, including a cross webbed seat, followed by 3 layers of premium quality foam. Additionally, all foams are GECA certified, off cuts are repurposed and scraps are recycled. Come test it out for yourself in our Sydney Showroom

04.01.2022 Last year we were approached by @cmstudio to design a banquette and dining table for their clients home on Sydneys northern beaches. We were excited with the opportunity to design this piece, looking at the traditional booth style and re-designing it for the modern coastal home. Here is the final result.
