25.01.2022 Even though we have been in lockdown for Covid19 purposes it’s still good to be able to work remotely with local businesses to help us all survive through this unique time! I have been working with Chris from @tpr.eng.au to CAD up the front forks we are converting from a CBR929R to fit a customers Kawasaki H1!! This front end with the upside down forks and twin brake discs should really set this bike off! @ Mr.Brownstone's

25.01.2022 This post is for a Monday that feels like a Sunday! We recently fitted an aftermarket camshaft to a ‘95 heritage softail classic #harleydavidson One of the lifters on the rear cylinder had failed and damaged the hard facing of the camshaft.. we fitted a close to stock camshaft supplied by @rolliesspeedshop and now she runs as good as new

24.01.2022 Cheers to @mervseatery for stopping by keeping me fuelled up with some amazing coffee Who’s bringin’ your coffee people?

24.01.2022 Some new parts arrived today for a certain Indian Scout Bobber! We are fitting some @motogadget m-blaze bar end indicators and @highsider_germany bar end mirrors to tidy up the already sexy front end! We have a few suppliers of great quality parts like this so get in contact today if you’re looking to customise your ride with some rad parts

23.01.2022 Every time I replace fork seals on any bike I always completely disassemble, clean and check all components to ensure that even if the outside of the fork doesn’t look entirely new the inside is functioning perfectly, coupled with new high quality oil that is bled of any trapped air before final reassembly and fitment back on your bike helps restore the feel and performance of your front end right from the first ride Contact me any way you like for a quote to replace your fork seals

23.01.2022 Really excited to start this one!! Complete front end swap from a donor Honda CBR929R onto a #kawasaki H1. Surprisingly the dimensions are fairly close already but some changes to the height of the 929’s steering stem and possibly some modifications to the front axle are needed but all in all should be a good fit! First step is to dismantle both front ends for comparison!! Can’t wait to take you guys along for this ride

21.01.2022 As promised I will be updating you on everything we’ve been up to in the last little while, I will start with this fantastic #Honda trials bike from the 70’s which is the twin of the TL125s we completed earlier in the year! What makes these bikes special is that they are consecutive vin numbers and have spent their entire lives together! Can’t wait to complete this one and see them side by side!

21.01.2022 Been really busy getting on top of all the work I get to do on these rad rides so haven’t been posting much of late! Here is some pics of this amazing #ducati 1098s that was in for a no start issue which after some diagnosing ended being a faulty fuel injection relay! @ Mr.Brownstone's

20.01.2022 Every carburettor we rebuild here in the @mr.brownstones workshop is completely disassembled then cleaned in an ultrasonic bath to ensure every port and orifice is clear to ensure correct function when re-fitted! We also give you the option to have it vapour blasted if you want it to look pretty

20.01.2022 Working late tonight designing a number plate tailpiece for the #kawasaki H1!! This always seems to start with a cardboard box of some description for some reason!!

17.01.2022 We are changing direction! After a lot of thoughts about the way we do business when the Rona interrupted our lives we have decided to to put the DIY aspect of the business on hold and concentrate on operating as a mechanical workshop. We can carry out all your repairs and maintenance of all makes and models, customise your ride or complete restoration! Over the next couple of weeks we will be posting updates on what we’ve been up to during our little social media hiatus!

17.01.2022 A little while ago we got in @enticehair Kawasaki Vulcan for more mods! We fitted @motogadget mirrors and bar end indicators, custom fabricated a number plate bracket to tidy up the rear and added some sweet minimalist tail lights as well as that we got @keeganskustoms to lay down some white GT stripes and mat clear her! This thing now looks as rad as it sounds

17.01.2022 Isolating myself at the workshop with the doors shut and limiting as much contact with the human kind as much as possible while working on amazing machines like this #triumph street triple 675r! We fitted @metalgearbraking sinted brake pads and new #pirelli Diablo Rosso 111 tyres @ Mr.Brownstone's

16.01.2022 Night wrench’n @mr.brownstones workshop

15.01.2022 Topping off a big week @mr.brownstones workshop with a custom tail tidy for @aaronc86 Kawasaki Ninja 300, this thing is so neat you can barely tell it’s there!! 14.01.2022 The H1 Kawasaki front end is really starting to come together nicely, almost mocked up and finalised then off to paint!

13.01.2022 Anything is possible @mr.brownstones workshop!! With the rules relaxed around the coronavirus pandemic @scottaj33 was able to come in and get back to work on his #Yamaha #rz500 Scott has completely rebuilt the engine back to its former glory and worked through a multitude of smaller issues that come with a bike of this age! Had a super rad day hanging out working on super rad bikes!! First pic is how the day started and second pic is how he finished! Absolutely cracking effort with the engine back in and looking so sweet @ Mr.Brownstone's

12.01.2022 Here’s a customers #vespa I serviced and detailed a little while ago, who would be interested in a service and detail package for their motorcycle or scooter? Let me know below

10.01.2022 Needed some headlight brackets for the H1 custom front end so we had some designed and then laser cut out!

09.01.2022 Today in the shop I’ve started work on a ‘95 #honda XR600 getting her ready for a trip to Cameron’s Corner. This bike has been sitting for a while unstarted, after all the usual tests ie fuel/spark/compression I quickly pulled the carby off and found this little mess! Something for you to keep in mind if you’re attempting to get that ride out of the shed for some winter sessions through the trails once they lift this #covid19 lockdown keep smiling people!

09.01.2022 This week in the @mr.brownstones workshop has been a busy and exciting one! Fitted up a custom set of pipes on this #suzukim109r and had a lot of fun removing the broken stainless steel bolts from the cylinder heads but won in the end with some help from @tpr.eng.au and @milwaukeetoolsaus next I took it down to @timmytobinsmotorcycles for a run on the dyno to make sure everything was performing as it should be! This bike ended up making 110HP and sounds as good as it looks!! @ Mr.Brownstone's

04.01.2022 Working late tonight designing a number plate tailpiece for the #kawasaki H1!! This always seems to start with a cardboard box of some description for some reason!!

04.01.2022 Stage 2 of the front end swap on the #kawasaki H1!! Big shoutout to @tpr.eng.au for your help to design the custom parts needed to make this possible cannot recommend them more for any and all engineering design and 3D printing!

03.01.2022 A sneaky late night modification to this throttle control so that the new heated grips would fit! Thanks for helping us out TPR Engineering you are awesome! Chris does some really cool stuff so go check it out

03.01.2022 Scottys RZ500, now starts perfectly with one kick!! He came to us here with an issue with first gear and ended up completing a full rebuild!! It’s amazing what you can achieve in a great space with a little guidance and great attitude! I played a little part in this build but most of the work was completed by Scott himself!! A couple of small things to sort out and this bike will be back to its former glory! It sounds and looks amazing!! Well done @scottaj33 you should be proud of yourself!!

02.01.2022 Got the CBR929R forks mocked up on the #h1 Kawasaki so excited to see this come together what do you guys think?
