30.01.2022 & Hi neighbours, we hope everyone is enjoying these glorious summer days. A quick update to let you know that Nonno will be busy helping out at SPRINGNATS and Midsumma Festival this weekend. Unfortunately he won't be around to roam the Hobsons Bay neighbourhood but he'll be back to his normal routine (below) from Monday. Cherry Lake, Altona from 12-2pm. Roaming a Hobsons Bay suburb afterwards.... Nonno will pick a different suburb to roam each day so be sure to keep an ear open for the sweet jingle of the ice-cream van. Enjoy the sunshine (and don't forget to slip, slop and slap).

21.01.2022 : - Nonno will be at Cherry Lake between 12-2pm on Thursday as per his normal schedule and then he'll be hitting the streets of Altona Meadows and Seabrook to deliver a special treat to the neighbourhood. Nonno knows where the die-hard Mr Fresh fans live but he'll also be roaming the streets to give as many people as possible a chance to cool down with icy cold ice-cream. 18.12.2021 - We've just received word that Nonno will be on deck to treat Cherry Lake visitors with a lunchtime ice-cream between 12-2pm each day before heading off to cruise a Hobsons Bay suburb. He will pick a different suburb each day so be sure to open your windows and keep an ear out for our sweet jingle. Let's see who can catch Nonno! ... 12.12.2021 ' ( ' !) In our first post for the year, we want to acknowledge the hard work of health workers who have been battling record breaking queues and test numbers over the festive period. Late last year we received a phone call from Dr Mukesh Haikerwal who wanted to thank the hardworking staff at the respiratory clinic at Altona North Medical Group with an ice-cream treat. Mr Fresh saw this as the perfect Pay It Forward opport...unity so decided the treat was on us courtesy of the contributions made by our generous community. We thank all front line workers for always putting community first. 17.11.2021 The silly season is well and truly here and Mr Fresh is sparing a quick moment from his busy schedule to send out a Christmas update to our wonderful community. We are happy to report that over the past two weeks we managed to sneak in a couple of end-of-year Pay It Forwards. First up, we surprised the kids at Altona Kindergarten with free ice-cream across two days, and then we treated the grade 6 kids from Seaholme Primary School at their... school sleepover night. Unfortunately we don't have any photos but we can assure you that the 150 kids were absolutely beaming. We also want to take this opportunity to thank the many local schools and clubs who've supported Mr Fresh since we've come out of lockdown. Special shout out goes to Newport Power Netball, Bayside College (both campuses), Yarraville West Primary School (800 ice creams), Seaholme Primary School, Altona P-9 College, Western Autistic School and Williamstown North Primary where the Grade 1 parents organised a treat for their kids. We also want to thank countless local businesses, dance schools, clubs and individuals across the Hobsons Bay community for their support. Whether you contacted us for the delivery of one ice-cream or one hundred, we thank you. Nonno and Mr Fresh would like to wish you and your families the best for a merry Christmas and a safe and prosperous 2022. #hobsonsbay #communityspirit

27.10.2021 Yesterday, Mr Fresh enjoyed celebrating the birthday of his niece, Rose and treating her and her wonderful friends to free ice-cream at Cherry Lake. 25.10.2021 , ’ One of things we love about our community is the number of local legends that are always hard at work helping others and keeping our community strong and cohesive. One of those legends is Father Greg from St Mary's Catholic Church, Williamstown. Father Greg works tirelessly to help others and we sure appreciate the support he offered Mr Fresh during lockdown. He booked us in to give his parishioners free ice-cream after mass... on the weekend which delighted everyone. We want to thank Father Greg along with other schools and businesses who have reached out to Mr Fresh over the past turbulent year. Local support means everything. As you all know, Mr Fresh is a massive advocate for paying it forward and spreading joy across our community. Mr Fresh will be giving back with three Pay It Forwards over the next few weeks. 22.09.2021 Greetings everyone! It's been a while since we've posted as we've been busy navigating the re-opening of Melbourne and dealing with crappy weather. We know many of you have missed seeing Nonno but he'll be back as soon as the sun decides to shine again (for more than 20 minutes!) , We want to send a massive thank you to Principal Milan from local high school, Bayside College for booking in Mr Fresh to treat the Year 10 students. Mr Fre...sh whipped up 150 ice-creams and was greeted with 150 please and thank you from the wonderful, well mannered students. We wish you all the best!
